This spin-off from the Fast and the Furious franchise will follow U.S. D.S.S. agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) who is forced into an uneasy alliance with former adversary, turned unlikely alley, Spec Ops special agent Deckard Shaw (Statham). Together this heavy hitting pair will have to take on their toughest opponent yet in the form of Brixton (Elba), a terrorist mastermind who is ready to cause destruction on an unprecedented level.

If you’re looking for high-flying, in-your-face, adrenaline charged action then you’ll definitely get it here. Not only is the film being directed by action mastermind David Leitch (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde), but the film also packs out a supporting cast that includes Vanessa Kirby as Deckard’s younger sister and MI6 operative Hattie Shaw and Eiza González as the mysterious Madam M.

Johnson has been posting regular updates about the film on his Instagram and his latest post has himself, Statham and Elba all standing at attention and ready to bring it.
