Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga has defined cinema since the early 2020s, standing as a crowning achievement of modern filmmaking and a powerful reminder of why the theatrical experience still matters. Now, in a surprise reveal, Villeneuve has unveiled the first teaser for Dune: Part Three – an ambitious and emotionally charged final act that promises to be nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Check out the full trailer for Dune: Part Three below:

Drawing from Dune Messiah, the story follows Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), now deified as Muad’Dib and ruling as Padishah Emperor. His holy war has torn across the galaxy, leaving devastation in its wake, and Paul now finds himself encircled by enemies, conspiracies, and the ever-present shadow of death. At the centre of this rising storm is Scytale, a Tleilaxu Face Dancer (Robert Pattinson), whose calculated and deeply personal conspiracy begins to unravel Paul’s fragile grip on power—and sanity.

With Dune: Part Three, Villeneuve leans fully into Herbert’s most provocative ideas: that charismatic leaders are dangerous, that hero worship breeds ruin, and that even the most powerful figures are undone by their own inner flaws. It’s a bold thematic pivot that promises a darker, more introspective conclusion to the saga.

Once again, the scale is staggering. Arrakis returns in all its harsh majesty, while the consequences of Paul’s interstellar jihad echo across a broken universe. The returning ensemble is as formidable as ever, with Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem all reprising their roles. Notably, Jason Momoa returns as Duncan Idaho; reborn as the ghola Hayt, a haunting echo of the warrior once loyal to House Atreides.

New faces further elevate the drama, including Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Paul’s sister; a formidable, almost otherworldly presence of immense psychic power. Opposite her, Pattinson’s Scytale emerges as a cunning and ruthless adversary, one who sees the fatal flaw in Paul’s empire and moves to exploit it.

Dune: Part Three is shaping up to be an immersive, visually spectacular, and emotionally charged finale—one steeped in political intrigue, existential reckoning, and the devastating cost of absolute power. Following the monumental achievements of Dune and Dune: Part Two, this final chapter looks set to close Villeneuve’s epic with seismic force.

For those who love the emotion of a gripping romantic film, they’ll discover it in the incredibly moving and sincere We Live In Time which features two performers in Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield at the top of their game, and who deliver a film that offers a poignant meditation on love, time, and the fragility of human connection.

Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) are brought together by a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of their unconventional love story.

Directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn), We Live in Time is, at its heart, a deeply moving romantic drama that intertwines themes of joy, heartbreak, and reconciliation. The story follows the relationship between its two leads as it blossoms, unravels, and evolves in unexpected ways. Much like its title suggests, the film weaves past, present, and future into a seamless narrative, challenging viewers to reflect on how the moments we live shape who we are. The screenplay, penned by Nick Payne, is as much a love story as it is a philosophical exploration of time. Payne’s writing is sharp, intimate, and poetic, delving into the intricacies of human relationships with profound sensitivity. The dialogue feels authentic, often packing a hefty emotional punch that will leave you reaching for tissues. Payne’s ability to balance tenderness with heartbreak is exceptional, making every scene feel earned and deeply resonant.

One of the film’s greatest strengths lies in the stellar performances of its two leads. Florence Pugh delivers a raw and compelling performance, capturing the full spectrum of emotions that her Almut endures. Her portrayal is nuanced, vulnerable, and utterly magnetic. Meanwhile, Andrew Garfield matches her intensity with an equally impressive performance, showcasing a quiet yet profound depth that tugs at the heartstrings through his sincere presence as her lover Tobias. Together, Pugh and Garfield have electric chemistry, and we watch in wonder as the relationship between Almut and Tobias grows over the narrative, with the little moments captured in such perfect morsels of cinematic love. Their on-screen dynamic is authentic and brimming with emotion, making their characters’ journey feel all the more personal and relatable. Watching them navigate the complexities of love is a masterclass in acting, and their synergy elevates the film to a whole new level.

Adding to the film’s allure is the stunning cinematography by Sean Bobbitt (12 Years a Slave). The visuals are rich and evocative, perfectly capturing the beauty of fleeting moments and the passage of time, while also staying true to the very Englishness of the film’s narrative and setting. Whether it’s the glow of a sunlit room or the stark isolation of a rainy street, Bobbitt’s work enhances the film’s emotional core. Complementing the visuals is the hauntingly beautiful score by Max Richter (Ad Astra). His compositions amplify the film’s emotional gravity, weaving seamlessly into the narrative and enhancing the storytelling in profound ways.

We Live in Time is more than just a film—it’s an experience. With its heartfelt performances, evocative storytelling, and lush visuals, it’s a testament to the power of cinema to move and inspire. Fans of emotionally driven dramas will find themselves captivated, while those looking for a thought-provoking exploration of love and loss will walk away deeply satisfied.

As one of 2021’s most intriguing cinematic events, Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling is a picture that has had our attention ever since we first laid eyes on its glistening imagery. Layered with mystery and secrets, Don’t Worry Darling is a thriller that will take you to the edge, and audiences had better hold their breath with this one.

Alice and Jack Chambers are a young, happy couple in the 1950s, living in the seemingly perfect company town of Victory, California, which has been created and paid for by the mysterious company for which Jack works. Curiosity about the nature of her husband’s work on the secret “Victory Project” begins to consume Alice. Cracks then begin to form in their utopian life as her investigation into the project raises tensions within the community.

With her 2019 teen comedy Booksmart, actress turned director Olivia Wilde took an established genre and found an entirely new sense of narrative and character within it, and it struck a chord with audiences. Now she returns behind the camera with her hypnotic and tension-filled dramatic thriller Don’t Worry Darling and it’s a 180-degree turn for Wilde as a director. And it works. Without wanting to divulge spoilers as this is a film that is best consumed in a single sitting, her film’s narrative is one that toys with its audience and delivers them a tense intellectual workout. Diving into themes of reality, obsession, choice, and free will, Don’t Worry Darling is a film with multiple sides to its narrative and audiences will not be expecting the twists and turns that this picture takes.

Don’t Worry Darling is a classic puzzle box thriller complete with multiple layers and Wilde unravels them with a deliberate intensity that builds in its exhilaration. Contrasting the veneer of perfection with dark and serious secrets, audiences will be caught off guard by her misdirections as a filmmaker and it all leads to one hell of a punch in the end. Wilde also asks a lot of questions of her audience, and I found myself thinking about this film’s characters and their motivations throughout the picture. Don’t Worry Darling has a terrific intellectual subtext to it and there are plenty of interesting ideas that are posed to the audience as this narrative unfurls before them.

As a visual spectacle, Don’t Worry Darling is gorgeous to look upon thanks to the combination of cinematography, production design and costuming. Debonair and glamourous in its presentation, the company town of Victory is a perfect picture of 1950s suburbia, which with its modernist architecture and richly coloured pastel hues is the ideal setting for this narrative to unfold in. Captured in crisp detail by noted cinematographer Matthew Libatique, the setting of Don’t Worry Darling could best be described as ‘manicured’ and this lavish Palm Springs environment bears much influence on the story.

Then there’s the costuming of the picture, courtesy of talented designer Arianne Phillips who styles the picture with a rich combination of colour, fabric and texture and paints the perfect picture of 1950s Hollywood glamour. With their flowing circle skirts and elegant evening wear, the women of Don’t Worry Darling are dressed with a perfect feminine pin-up elegance, while the men are decked out in groovy tennis shirts, chinos and tightly tailored suits that evoke a sense of daring masculine energy. Phillps’ work in costuming is not only gorgeous to look upon, but helps add to the tone and mood of the story and Don’t Worry Darling is without a doubt one of the most stylish films of the entire year.

Standing front and centre in the middle of Don’t Worry Darling is rising star Florence Pugh who fully steps into the role of a Hollywood leading lady with her turn as the film’s protagonist Alice Chambers. And this film belongs to her. Starting off as the perfect housewife, Pugh’s Alice is blissfully in love with her handsome young husband Jack (Harry Styles) and seems to have it all. But when things start to go astray, an unsettling feeling arises in Alice, and soon she’s in a literal waking nightmare. Pugh taps into the role of the classic Hitchcockian blonde in Don’t Worry Darling, and she’s adept at playing this character who is taken to the edge of madness. She completely disappears into this character, her intensity and focus in the part make a big impression on audiences, and this performance solidifies her as an A-list talent to keep an eye on.

Wrapping his arms around Pugh, both in the figurative and metaphorical sense is Harry Styles as her doting and handsome husband Jack, and Don’t Worry Darling is a full-on u-turn for the pop star turned thespian. With his classic good looks, Styles cuts a very dashing figure as Alice’s perfect husband who’s almost too good to be true. And oh does Jack have his secrets. Delivering a performance that can best be described as two-faced, Styles changes things up as Jack and audiences won’t expect the revelations and actions that his character delivers or the fierceness that they’re presented with.

Finally bringing Don’t Worry Darling full circle is Chris Pine as the charming and capable Frank, Jack’s charismatic boss and mentor who is not all who he seems to be and who engages in a dangerous battle of wills with Pugh’s Alice. Pine approaches the role of Frank with a kind of ‘cat who ate the canary’ quality, and there’s a certain cat-like grace to his performance. Possessed of both perfect polish and action-man swagger, Frank is a man who commands tremendous power and adulation in the seemingly perfect town of Victory and Pine’s performance as Frank makes for a worthy antagonist for Pugh’s Alice to contend with.

Don’t Worry Darling sizzles with kinetic energy, and its mix of puzzle box narrative and vintage glamour is a wonderful treat for audiences. Wilde’s film also contains a ravenous passion for its storytelling, and there’s a hot and sweaty sexuality that adds to the edginess of the narrative, and your heart will start to race when things get steamy. But Wilde’s focus is never gratuitous, and every action of this film feeds into its narrative exploration of ideas of control, reality, and free will, with Don’t Worry Darling asking many curious questions of its audience.

With its classic Hitchcockian thrills, glamourous style, and intense lead performances, Don’t Worry Darling is a film that will take audiences by surprise, and it offers up a very cerebral and frantic cinematic experience.

Watch the all-new trailer below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack Chambers (Harry Styles) are a young, happy couple living in the seemingly perfect company town of Victory during the 1950s, which is created and paid for by the mysterious company Jack is working for. Curiosity about the nature of her husband’s work on the secret Victory Project begins to consume Alice which leads to cracks in their utopian life as Alice raises tensions within the community during her investigation of the project.

Packed together with breathtaking style and production values, the visual flair of Don’t Worry Darling is the first thing that hits you as soon as you lay eyes on this new trailer, and it’s a film experience unlike anything else out there. But as Wilde draws back the layers that lie behind the glamour, a darker, more dangerous revelation presents itself, and Don’t Worry Darling presents itself as a thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.

Florence Pugh again commands the attention of her audience with a gripping performance as the film’s lead Alice Chambers, a young housewife who is living the 1950s dream in the company of Victory, where everything is seemingly perfect. Until it isn’t. Soon suffering feelings of paranoia, Alice falls into a dangerous, twisted spiral as she begins to challenge the authority of Victory’s leader, Frank (Chris Pine) and his perfect doting wife Shelley (Gemma Chan). It’s then that a new nightmare for Alice begins, and this trailer turns up the heat on our central protagonist as her will to survive takes over and she has to do everything in her power to set herself free.

This second trailer for Don’t Worry Darling is a completely different experience from the initial first trailer and heightens the suspense and intensity that Don’t Worry Darling will deliver to audiences. It’s a frenzied watch, and promises a completely original film that audiences will be spellbound by.

Don’t Worry Darling will arrive in cinemas on October 6.

All good things come to those who wait, and after nearly two and a half years without a Marvel Studios release in cinemas we can now bask in the glow of the sheer epicness that is Black Widow. Long time fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been salivating for this release and their devotion and love for this character, and eagerness to experience the next chapter in her story, is rewarded with one epic blockbuster cinematic experience.

Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Romanoff must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Long time fans of the MCU have been waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Marvel Studios Black Widow and they will be very happy with what director Cate Shortland brings to the screen. If you think you know what you’re getting with Black Widow, think again, as Shortland delivers a film that is a high-octane, gunmetal espionage thriller, and trust me when I say that you’ve never seen a Marvel film like this before. With her directorial vision, Shortland gives Black Widow a dark and grungy tone, and really takes audiences inside the shadowy Black Ops world that exists outside of the Avengers scope. This is a world of shadow battles that are fought with automatic weapons, sharped edged blades and sheer grit, and right from the get-go Shortland seriously raises the stakes.

Placing great emphasis on an early Cold War setting, and the ongoing threat of a post-Soviet spy world, where the tensions are high between the West and the Russian block, leads to a considerable amount of danger, and Black Widow has a serious edge to its storytelling. Going back in time, Shortland takes us inside the mind of Natasha Romanoff and her existence within the feared Red Room, and there’s plenty of moments that will make you jump as Natasha has to contend with her past. Balancing character with action, Shortland keeps her audience guessing the whole way through, and there’s some juicy storytelling to keep audiences engaged. Black Widow is an all-together different kind of MCU cinematic experience for Marvel fans and Shortland crafts one hell of an engaging movie.

Front and centre in Black Widow is of course long time MCU star Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and for the first time, audiences will truly experience her complete story. While MCU fans will of course be aware of Natasha’s eventual fate, the experience of watching Black Widow leads to a completely full circle journey for Johansson’s portrayal of this character as she lets audiences into what actually makes this super-spy turned Avenger tick. Along with allowing us into Natasha’s headspace, Johansson also answers questions related to Natasha’s past, such as the details of the Budapest affair, along with her actions as a Widow, which provides plenty of interesting character depth.

Joining Johansson in Black Widow is MCU newcomer Florence Pugh as Natasha’s adoptive sister Yelena Belova and Pugh is an absolute firecracker in the role. Best described as Natasha’s dark shadow, Yelena is a far darker character compared to her sister and she’s definitely a wild child at heart. Pugh’s Yelena makes for a very interesting mirror in which to analyze Natasha and her actions and with Yelena’s devil-may-care attitude and far more lethal and serious leanings makes their interactions together that much more interesting to watch on screen. I was very impressed with what Pugh brought to the role, and how she changed up the narrative and audiences will love this new Widow that they get to meet.

Bringing a formidable force to the narrative of Black Widow is David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, the Soviet Union’s only ever super-soldier, and who is now a deep shadow of his former self. A now bloated, washed-up state prisoner, who bears a deep resentment to his former life as a ‘hero’, Alexei is a tragic and complicated character and has a lot to give to the story of Black Widow. Best described as an absentee father, Alexei finds a second chance to redeem himself in the eyes of his ‘children’ and the results are very enjoyable to watch. It’s clear that Harbour had a blast in the role, and he gives his performance a great mix of comedy that keeps things engaging, while also cramming into his uniform to throw down one more time.

Finally, Rachel Weisz brings a very interesting and complicated presence to Black Widow in the form of Melina Vostokoff, a mother figure to Natasha and Yelena and Alexei’s former lover. And her presence in the film is sure to keep audiences on their toes. As the brains behind the Red Room, Melina has a seriously dark history and Weisz excels at giving this character a two-faced quality that keeps the audience on edge. With Melina, you never know what she’s going to do next and Weisz’s resulting performance is sure to keep you amped the whole way through, and she makes for a very interesting addition to this complicated family unit.

The action of Black Widow is simply outstanding! Marvel fans who have been wanting a serious adrenaline rush will not be disappointed, and this is one film that will get your heart pumping. From a helicopter smash escape from a Siberian prison to a full-on assault through the streets of Budapest, the action of Black Widow doesn’t let up for a moment and Marvel fans will love what Shortland and her team bring to the screen. The film’s Spec Ops setting makes the action that much more adrenaline-charged and when Natasha has to face down the unstoppable might of the lethal Taskmasker, things truly get dialled all the way up. We’ve been waiting a long time for this level of epic action and the results are awesome to witness on screen.

But in addition to its epic action, Black Widow also focuses in on some very heavy themes, and this is the most moved I’ve been by a Marvel movie since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. Shortland’s focus on ideas of family, and the trials and tribulations they go through is sure to affect all who watch this movie. The resulting exploration of childhood trauma and psychological scarification gives this film a dark shadow to investigate, and the concept of free will is inspected with keen interest by Shortland on screen. Black Widow examines what it means to stand up and be a hero and to right the wrongs of your past and audiences will get a real kick out of this thematic study.

Black Widow is without a doubt the film we all need right now and this is one movie-going experience you’ll want to witness up on the big screen as it was meant to be seen. So go out now and embrace the epic popcorn blockbuster fun that is Black Widow…because this is Marvel the way it was meant to be experienced.

If you’ve got a dream, then you’ve gotta be willing to fight for it and no one exemplifies this more than professional wrestler Saraya Knight, better known as Paige, who beats out all the odds to accomplish not only her dreams, but those of her family in the ultimate underdog done good story in Fighting With My Family.

Based on a true story, Fighting With My Family follows reformed gangster Ricky (Nick Frost), wife Julia (Lena Headey), daughter Paige (Florence Pugh) and son Zak (Jack Lowden) as they make a living wrestling together in tiny venues. When Paige and Zak get the opportunity to try out for WWE, the family grabs a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn their wildest dreams into a dazzling future. However, brother and sister quickly discover that to become superstars, both their talent and their relationship will be put to the test.

Stephen Merchant steps behind the camera here with Fighting With My Family and his all-around comedic genius brings an incredible amount of passion to this astounding true-life story. As a filmmaker, Merchant constructs two unique worlds: the bruising working class of Norwich, England where the Knight family call home and the bright lights and glam of the WWE. And merging these two worlds together is the central character of Florence Pugh’s Paige who finds herself on the way to becoming a championship wrestler through a whole lot of grit and desire.

As a director, Merchant has a full handle over his story and really works hard to get at the drama and emotions that drive this family in their pursuit of a seemingly unobtainable dream. Whether it’s the film’s crackling comedic timing or it’s high-flying wrestling footage, Fighting With My Family delivers everything with a hundred percent and not a moment is wasted up on screen.

Taking to the mat in Fighting With My Family is rising star Florence Pugh and with her role as Saraya Knight, Pugh proves why she is regarded as one of the most in demand talents working today. This young actress invests herself heavily into the role of Saraya and her journey to become Paige is truly transformative.

If I were to use a word that would best describe Pugh’s performance as Paige then it is definitely authentic. Watching her onscreen you just buy into the believeability of her performance and this crazy carny-like life that she has lived, which has shaped her into the woman that she is. If there is anything that drives Paige in her quest to the top then it’s definitely her love for her family, and this helps drive her inner resolve to make it to the top.

Along with Pugh’s broad emotional range that she brings to the project, the actress also dives head first into the physicality of the part and that means a whole lot of pain and gain. Pugh really goes for it with the film’s demanding physical needs and whether it’s the grueling training that she has to endure under the heat of the Florida sun or learning the art of the sell, Fighting With My Family gives audiences an insight into the willpower and tenacity that professional wrestlers have to call upon.

Joining Pugh’s Paige in her quest for the top is Jack Lowden who stars as her brother and all-around wrestling freak Zak Knight, known ringside as Zak Zodiac. But Zak has a serious wake-up call when his life takes a different turn and this is where Lowden’s performance really steps up.

When he comes face-to-face with the idea that he’ll never be anything more than a journey man wrestler, Zak takes a really dark turn and it’s here that Fighting With My Family finds a lot of its resonance with it’s audience. Zak’s pain, loss and envy is a stand-in for all those who have seen their own dreams pulled forth from them in a situation that is completely out of their own hands, and Lowden’s honest and pained performance really drives home the loss that he feels. But it’s not all doom and gloom for Zak, and with the help of his sister he’s able to open his eyes to all the good things in his life and is able to champion his sister to her own success.

Completing the Knight Family are Lena Headey and Nick Frost as Julia “Sweet Saraya” Knight and Patrick “Rowdy Ricky” Knight, and these talented performers really fill in the spot of Mum and Dad on-screen. Loud, uncouth and completely off script, both Julie and Ricky share in the ringmaster identity of their carny-like wrestling business, the WAW, and both have a non-stop enthusiasm that they give to their children, and this results in plenty of hilarious moments.

You couldn’t find a better on-screen couple than Headey and Frost and their performances are down right perfect as their inner comedic talent come out. Chief amongst this is Frost’s gruff working man demeanor and complete inappropriateness which will have you in stitches, and Headey’s motherly advice, which is particularly rough around the edges. These two definitely put the ‘family’ in Fighting With My Family and the film is a far richer experience because of it.

Providing the film with plenty of tension is Vince Vaughn who arrives onto the mat as no-nonsense WWE trainer and selector Hutch Morgan and he gives Paige a considerable challenge in the film. But while Hutch might appear to be one way on the surface, he’s got his own story to tell, and this is where the film’s story and Merchant’s direction really shines through. There are no clear antagonists in Fighting With My Family and it’s more about everyone’s own unique story and the thematic idea of ‘not judging a book by it’s cover’ that shines through here with both Hutch’s character, and Paige’s fellow female trainees.

Finally Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson brings his real world likeness to the film as this 260 pound Jiminy Cricket-like figure who offers Paige plenty of sage like advice on her quest to compete in the WWE and the mega star is having a ball here. Bounding with his whup-ass personality, Johnson is the spiritual godfather to Paige and Zak and it’s fun to see him in this mentor-like position as he encourages Paige to go for it in the ring and present her truest self to WWE fans.

Fighting With My Family is a real example of the underdog spirit, and it’s a narrative that the audience will really get caught up in. The highs are big and the lows are raw, and all of this results in a film that illustrates how the idea of strength in numbers is always more important than the lone achiever. While Paige is the central focus of the film’s success, you see that her rise to the top comes from those around her and that all of her success has been led by the love of her family, and it’s this crazy love, and I do mean crazy, which leads her to the lights of Wrestlemania.

And while there is plenty of drama going on in Fighting With My Family, and things do get heavy on occasion, this drama is definitely trumped by the tremendous comedy Merchant puts on screen. With the Knight family’s odd-ball, carny lifestyle and the spot on timing from Lena Headey and Nick Frost, you’ll find yourself in stitches. Seriously you can’t make this kind of comedy up and Merchant has selectively taken pieces from the film’s documentary basis and incorporated it into the film and the result is a crazy amount of fun for a family for whom wrestling is an undeniable passion.

If you’re seeking a film that will get you pumped up and amped for plenty of fun, then Fighting With My Family is the perfect watch. Championing the underdog spirit and celebrating the power of being yourself, Fighting With My Family is cinema done right and you’ll feel unstoppable after you come out of the cinema after watching this triumphant success.
