The great Sir Kenneth Branagh is ready to return to the world of Agatha Christie and once again steps into the perfectly tailored suit and styled moustache of the great detective himself, Hercule Poirot, in a brand new adaptation of Christie’s famed work Death on the Nile. And Branagh crafts a stylish, sexy and sinister thriller as he continues to explore the grand storytelling legacy of Poirot.

The peace and tranquility that was temporarily present on the S.S. Karnak is destroyed after one of the passengers is found murdered. Renowned Belgian detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh) is entrusted with the important task of identifying which one of the passengers is the killer before they strike again.

Returning once more to the big screen as the dapper and inquisitive Hercule Poirot is Sir Kenneth Branagh, and the world-renowned thespian and director pulls out all the stops with a must-watch adaptation of Agatha Christie’s famed story Death on the Nile. Taking audiences to the exotic landscape of Egypt, circa 1936 and the mystery of the Nile River, Branagh establishes a stylish, slick, sexy and sinister new sequel to his hit 2017 adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express and in doing so continues the adventures of the grand Poirot. And what an experience it is. Painting a lavish portrait on his cinema canvas, Branagh crafts a film that is beautiful to look upon and entices you in with a twisting and complex narrative that changes the rules at every turn and which will have you clutching the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

Serving as both lead actor and director, Branagh has intimate knowledge of the world of Agatha Christie and her charismatic detective, Monsieur Hercule Poirot and in Death in the Nile he is able to focus on further character development of the great detective while showcasing a dangerous new crime that will test the detective’s skills and intellect right to the edge. As a filmmaker, Branagh is a man who is in love with the scope, scale and possibilities that the movie theatre provides and make no mistake Death on the Nile must be seen on the big screen. With a talented cast and team at his side, Branagh makes Death at the Nile an utterly incredible work to watch on the big screen and he spares no expense in bringing the glamourous world of an exotic Egypt of the 1930s to life. Costuming and production, hair and make-up, visual effects and score all come together to bring the heat and passion of this story to the big screen and you’ll find yourself transported to a far away time and place and it’s an utterly marvellous watch.

Where his work on Murder on the Orient Express was more in keeping with the classic murder-mystery, here in Death on the Nile, Branagh turns the heat up and this film is a pure thriller in every sense of the word. Dripping with sex appeal and seduction, Death on the Nile is a firey and passionate film that gets under your skin, and soon a deadly game of murder is afoot and everyone aboard the glamourous and exotic cruise line, S.S. Karnac, is a suspect. While Branagh does take his time with the narrative he moves quickly and sets up the jealousies and resentments that set the story in motion, and gives this film a steely noir edge that makes the proceeding story extremely interesting to watch. Branagh moves from left to right and his talented cast keeps you hooked and your mind running in puzzles and you won’t want to look away as the body count rises and Poirot is pushed to the limits to solve the case.

As this is the second time around, Branagh also allows himself the ability to draw out Hercule Poirot’s character development and fans of the character will be in for a treat as to what mysteries he brings to the screen. One particularly notable scene reveals itself as an origin of sorts and it’s incredibly interesting to see Poirot’s intellect and curiosity form. Audiences will be in for a definite treat with this further exploration of the dapper detective and it’s very fun to see two sides to this famous character. One is the aloof, suave, dandyish man of the world who basks in his worldly travels, expensive meals and quality beverages, the other is a committed, and frenzied bloodhound who becomes downright dangerous when he’s stuck into a case and it’s a great juxtaposition to watch unfold on screen. Branagh has the ability to easily snap back and forth between the two personas of Poirot and it makes his performance very interesting to watch.

As a director, Branagh has also assembled an incredible cast to bring Death on the Nile to life and there are real standouts amongst its rank. Gal Gadot brings a radiant glamour as heiress Linnet Ridgeway-Doyle and there’s a flamboyant style and interesting two-faced quality to her performance. Gadot is sharp and lustful as Linnet and she portrays her as a woman used to getting what she wants and whose actions have also brought her scornful enemies at the same time. Opposite Gadot is Emma Mackey as Jacqueline de Bellefort, a sophisticated and dangerous femme fatale who has it in for Gadot’s Linnet and Mackey keeps her cards close to the chest as this haughty, debonair character. Russell Brand makes a complete and total transformation as the good Dr. Linus Windlesham, polished and pressed in an array of perfectly tailored suits it’s a real turnaround for him as a performer and he brings an interesting perspective to the story. Then there’s Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French as Marie Van Schuyler, a socialite turned communist and her nurse-companion Mrs. Bowers and the two of them keep the plot interesting.

Death on the Nile is a cinematic thriller that is both beautiful and intense at the same time and audiences who are seeking a grand adventure will be transported back in time thanks to its grand production, sensational narrative and marvellously rendered characters. It’s a movie-going experience worthy of the big screen and audiences will have a glorious time when they buy a ticket for this exotic ride.

To achieve an ultimate vision is to fight for it, and that is what director Zack Snyder has done, in more ways than one, with the completion and presentation of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, a four-hour cinema epic that brings to life his true vision for superhero blockbuster Justice League and it’s AWESOME.

Following the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to form the Justice League and protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who seek the three Mother Boxes.

As a director, Zack Snyder is one of the most polarizing figures to step behind-the-camera. Right from the beginning, he has done things his way, and he’s always worked to make movies that carry his own unique artistic expression. And this is a director who will not compromise on his artistic vision. But through no-fault of his own and a deeply personal tragedy, he had to walk away from 2017’s Justice League and so could not bring his ultimate vision to life. But through a commitment and desire from the fans, who held a burning desire to see Snyder’s true vision for this movie come to life, we now have Zack Snyder’s Justice League…and it has been well worth the wait.

If you are a Zack Snyder fan you’re going to love this movie. With the presentation of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, our director gets to show-off his unique visual presence, and all of his trademark calling cards are present here. From his unique grim dark setting to the exploration of mythic archetypes, to the frequent use of slow-motion action sequences and impressive, grand visual effects, all of it is present in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Snyder dials it all the way up. While audiences may have seen this film before, Snyder’s new presentation presents the film in a far different light, and we get to go much deeper into the story he is telling and are able to gleam new insights, narrative points and character developments because of the new cut.

At just over four hours long, Snyder really takes his time in crafting this cut of Justice League, and it’s an entirely different watch. Snyder is able to pace out the gigantic presentation through the use of an innovative chapter system, and this gives the film a rhythm and energy that keeps the film moving forward. While I won’t go into any type of strong specifics around the narrative, I will say that he places his attention of capturing the mythic quality of the Justice League and the characters that make up the DCEU. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have always been presented as iconic, archetypal characters, and Snyder presents them so in this way in this cut. And the appearance of these characters, as they are truly meant to be, makes for a far more engaging viewing experience as an audience member.

Along with presenting a new side to this story, Snyder also presents it in a whole new way thanks to his use of the 1.33:1 aspect ratio, which leads to a much fuller image. Snyder has long been a fan of this aspect ratio and it takes the scale and scope of Zack Snyder’s Justice League to a whole new level. The images are fuller, with more detail being captured, and the result is a far grander presentation of an epic blockbuster cinematic event. Snyder’s focus on capturing these iconic characters in this new format creates an experience that I can relate back to the grand vision of David Lean and cinematographer Freddie Young, and their ability to inspire epic cinematic moments, and that’s exactly what Snyder has done here in his new cut of Justice League.

One of the most exciting parts about witnessing Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the new presentation of the core six members of the Justice League. Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) are all presented in a bold new light, and these new narratives and character developments are very fun to watch. But it’s the villains that keep things interesting in this one. Not only do we see a far more aggressive and demonic presentation of Ciaran Hinds Steppenwolf, who mercilessly hunts for the Mother Boxes, but we also get a deeper look into the sinister character of DeSaad and the world of Apokolips, and Jack Kirby fans will be pleased with what’s on offer. But it’s Ray Porter as intergalactic tyrant Darkseid who really steals the show and let it be known that Darkseid Is.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League also delivers heavily on the spectacle and action fans will be very pleased with the result. Snyder dials everything up, and the outcome is a bigger, meaner action push that is sure to give you a rush. Plus there’s also the helpful addition of a coveted R-rating, and this gives the film’s fight scenes some serious edge. Snyder doesn’t over-do his R-rating, and he’s certainly not aggressive with it, but like everything else present in this film, an R-rating is beneficial to Snyder in that it allows him to go into greater depth within this narrative and push it further. Snyder presents previous action scenes from the 2017 film in a completely brand new light and this again leads to a far more engaging and complete experience for audiences.

While I won’t go into any specific points on actual scenes from the film or dispel any serious plot points I will say one of my favourite parts of the film was a brand new ‘Knightmare’ sequence. Following in the footsteps of the Knightmare sequence from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this Knightmare sequence features a meeting between two legendary characters, and it’s utterly epic. This scene, and in fact the whole film are a tribute to Zack Snyder’s immense creativity and desire to push the envelope with the possibilities of the narrative of Justice League and the result is a very exciting watch for long time DC Comics fans and for those who want to see these characters portrayed as the icons that they were created as.

But ultimately, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a gift from a father to his daughter. It was during the production that Zack Snyder lost his adoptive daughter Autumn to the tragedy of suicide and it was a shocking event that rocked the production to its core and had an immense impact on Snyder’s family in the most devastating way possible. But through a strong sense of resilience, determination and love, Snyder was able to complete his vision for this epic film, and the final result is a way for the filmmaker to honour his daughter. It’s this ultimate act that makes this film so compelling and heroic and you can’t help but be moved by the director’s actions to honour his daughter this way.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a massive film of breathtaking scale and epicness and is the result of a filmmaker’s grand vision brought to life. It’s an utter masterwork, and fans will be extremely pleased by the final product and the experience of seeing these icons re-envisioned in all their heroic glory. It’s simply awesome.

Catch Zack Snyder’s Justice League on NEON and SKY GO on Thursday 18 May.

One of 2021’s most anticipated releases is Zack Snyder’s Justice League, also affectionately known as the Snyder Cut, which will present a brand new, unseen side to 2017’s Justice League with Snyder re-cutting the film to reflect his personal vision of the story and its characters.

And the official trailer has now arrived. Check it out below:

Here’ the official synopsis:

Following the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit the Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to form the Justice League and protect the world from Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who seek the three Mother Boxes.

This new trailer is nothing short of epic and presents a completely new vision on behalf of Snyder. Not only do we finally get to get Henry Cavill’s Superman in the Black Suit, but we also get to see a newly designed Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds), alongside the appearance of Darkseid, and audiences also get their first look at a confrontation between Ben Affleck’s Batman and Jared Leto’s Joker in a hellish new landscape.

hile the basic framework of the story is the same, dozens of additional scenes, backstories, mythos, worldbuilding elements, new characters, and teases for upcoming films are present in Snyder’s version but not the theatrical release. This includes new scenes with characters including Iris West (Kiersey Clemons), the love interest to Barry Allen/The Flash, alongside Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), who will be given new material to work with by Snyder.

This first glimpse of Zack Snyder’s Justice League is incredible to behold, and Snyder has also confirmed that the film will be presented as a one-shot event movie, instead of the four-part series that was initially rumoured.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will arrive on HBO Max on March 18.

2020 has been a year for the history books, and it’s been some time since we’ve had the energy, fun and enjoyment of big-screen, blockbuster entertainment. But now Patty Jenkins and her amazing cast including Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal are ready to bring the rush of blockbuster entertainment back to the big screen in Wonder Woman 1984….and this is truly the movie audiences have been waiting for.

In 1984, during the Cold War, Diana (Gal Gadot) comes into conflict with two formidable foes — media businessman Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva/Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), while reuniting with her love interest Steve Trevor (Steve Trevor).

Returning hot on the heels of her ground-breaking work with 2017’s Wonder Woman, Patty Jenkins now helms its much watch sequel in Wonder Woman 1984. And she really takes the character of Wonder Woman up a notch. Free from the necessity of establishing the character’s origins and abilities, Jenkins lets Diana of Themyscira truly fly in this one, and Wonder Woman 1984 is a superhero film that completely comes together on every single level. Narrative, character, casting, production, cinematography, hair and make-up, all of it comes together under Jenkins direction and the result is a perfect blockbuster for a cinema landscape that’s really been needing one. Wonder Woman 1984 is the complete package on Jenkins behalf and is a very fun watch.

In watching Wonder Woman 1984 it’s clear to the audience that Jenkins had a blast making this movie as she got to explore Diana’s character in a whole new era . The 1980s were a time of excess and extravagance, and Jenkins really pulls her audience into them with a film that supercharges the era with more flash, more color and plenty of funk. From T-Birds roaring down Washington, DC to jazzercise classes to massive shoulder pads and loud hair, Jenkins fully brings her audience into the decade. Playing with ideas of rampant capitalism and the Cold War also raises the stakes higher for Diana this time around and gives the picture a sense of urgency to its narrative.

The experience of watching Wonder Woman 1984 is one of pure joy for the audience, and Jenkins and her team go all out with the visuals on screen. It’s awash with bright and radiant colour in a hyper-real portrait of 1984, and audiences will feel like they will have gone back in time to another decade. Jenkins pulls from a range of references in bringing her story to life including Wall Street, Dynasty, and Dallas, with all of the glamour of the area captured in one of the film’s larger set pieces in its lavish Smithsonian Gala sequence. She also captures the energy of the original Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter in Wonder Woman 1984 with Diana as an active modern-day superheroine. The experience of watching this film is similar in my mind to James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day, where the first film is good, but the sequel is even better, as it builds out its world and characters further.

Returning to handle the lasso of truth and save the world one more time is Gal Gadot as Diana/Wonder Woman and this narrative brings a considerable change to our heroine this time around. Having now lived in the real world for more than 60 years, Diana has secretly been living a double life and doing her best to help others in need. However the loss of Steve Trevor has affected her deeply and she begins our story as a far more closed off, and lonely individual, who in some ways has given up on the possibilities of the modern world. But soon the world is threatened and she must once again rise to save it. In Wonder Woman 1984 Diana has to undergo a very strong sense of character growth and there’s plenty of tests and challenges for her to overcome.

In terms of her performance, Gadot has to handle a range of broad emotions with this one, and she once again proves why she was the perfect choice for the role. While in the first film she was an almost ingenue type of character, in its sequel she has much more perspective, and a truer understanding of justice and her mission. And in Wonder Woman 1984 Diana faces some tough choices that take Gadot’s performance to a new level. Like Jenkins, she has an absolute blast returning to the character, and the film’s 1980s setting benefits Gadot’s performance even further thanks to its music, fashion and hair and make-up that help her shine even more as the world’s favourite superheroine.

There’s plenty of mystery in Wonder Woman 1984 and one of the biggest is the reincarnation of Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor. While I won’t go into anything that could run the risk of spoilers its very fun to see his return to the big screen and audiences will love seeing Pine and Gadot back together. Pine gets to indulge in his ultimate Top Gun fantasy in Wonder Woman 1984 and the jet-setting age of the 1980s absolutely appeals to his character. There are also some great comedic moments on behalf of Pine thanks to his ‘fish out of water’ presence, and it’s fun to see a reversal from the first film where Steve is now introduced to a brand new world. The chemistry and love are very present between Pine and Gadot in their romance and their time shared on screen is sure to cause your heart to flutter.

Bringing plenty of surprise and energy to Wonder Woman 1984 is Kristen Wiig in the role of Barbara Ann Minerva/Cheetah and she has plenty of scene-stealing moments in this one. Starting off as an overlooked nerd girl, Barbara soon transforms into a glamourous and sexy alpha female, becoming the best possible version of herself, but not before she unleashes her inner bad girl and soon it’s on between Diana and Barbara in the big screens ultimate girl fight. While we’ve become accustomed to seeing Wiig as a comedian and comic relief, it’s exceptionally cool to see her as a full-on villainess in Wonder Woman 1984 and she has a lot of fun as this very bad girl!

Like Gadot, Wiig has a lot of heavy drama to handle throughout the film and her portrayal of Barbara Ann Minerva makes for an exceptionally well-rounded character. What’s interesting is seeing how she embraces her bad girl style and soon she steps into this sexed-up Madonna that showcases bold confidence and some predatory animal instincts that set her up for a fight with Gadot’s Diana. Wiig was inspired casting on behalf of Jenkins and her dark mirror image reflection of Gadot’s Diana makes Wonder Woman 1984 more exciting and interesting as a viewer as these two characters have to battle one another on-screen.

Finally, bringing some much-needed menace to Wonder Woman 1984 is Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord, a bold ‘master of the universe’ who is intent on world domination no matter the cost. Brazenly arrogant and embodying the 1980s excessive wealth and success, Pascal’s Maxwell Lord is a character who wears many different faces throughout the film. And as his plan for world domination comes into the forefront things get all the more dangerous for Diana’s mission to stop him. Like his co-stars, Pascal revels in the fun he gets to have as this all-out villain, and he really takes on the status of an all money, oil man thanks to a rotating wardrobe of double-breasted power suits that help cement his character’s representation of the era’s greed and excess. Pascal has a lot of fun on screen, and he’s the final part of the cast that brings the whole film together.

If you’re seeking blockbuster action, well, you’ll get it in Wonder Woman 1984. And being that it’s been some time since we’ve had the fun and energy of some blockbuster thrills up on the big screen, it’s very fun to witness the energy and action of Wonder Woman 1984. Jenkins throws all of her cast into the action of her film, and she doubles the scope and intensity of the set pieces from the first film that will have your adrenaline pumping. From an intense car chase on the freeways of Cairo to a super-powered brawl through the White House between Diana and Barbara, Wonder Woman 1984 grips you with its intensity and action junkies will have a blast with this one. The film’s climactic showdown between Diana and Barbara is my favourite action set piece of the film, and long time fans of both characters will love this long-expected showdown!

But alongside its blockbuster thrills and bold visuals, Wonder Woman 1984 also explores some very big themes related to notions of time, wish fulfilment and desire and this makes for a much more affecting and deeper narrative film. While I won’t go into specifics of the film’s themes, given the film’s secretive narrative, Jenkins uses the sequel to explore new possibilities with the character of Diana, and it’s extremely emotional and poignant seeing Diana’s character growth on a thematic level. Wonder Woman 1984 is a film that opens itself up to new possibilities and the key to this is the growth of its central character.

2020 has been an exceptionally long year for cinema fans and Wonder Woman 1984 is the film we’ve needed. It’s energy, action and fun is sure to lift up audiences across the world and you can’t help but feel joyful, energized and hopeful when watching it. Its layered narrative, flamboyant characters and intense action makes it an extraordinary blockbuster for extraordinary times, and it’s films like these which call out to the strength of the cinema and why we need them.

In what is the most anticipated cinematic event of the year, visual mastermind Zack Snyder brings to life the DC Cinematic Universe with grand scope and scale, and an amazing commitment to precise detail. For fans who have been waiting a long time to see this universe brought to life, you won’t be disappointed.

Fearing the actions of a god-like superhero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day saviour, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

5. Zack Snyder – A director’s passion

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice feels like Snyder’s masterpiece, and with every frame of this gorgeously shot film you can sense his true passion and love for the characters. Snyder stays true to the spirit of the original source material, crafting a daring film that fans deserve. His direction is inspiring, not to mention his decision to take risks in order to provide an original interpretation of the iconic characters.

4. Gal Gadot – Amazonian Princess

Fans have long desired to see Diana Princess of Themyscira on screen, and it’s a relief to say that she has been brought to life with passion, glamour and a warrior’s edge. Whether as Diana Prince or Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot makes for a commanding screen presence, capturing the spirit of Wonder Woman for a brand new cinema-going audience. With Gadot as the mighty hero, audiences will come to look up to this epic character and the grand position that she holds in the DC Universe.

3. A comic book come to life

With furious energy, masterful cinematography, and a dynamic and tight visual palette, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a literal comic book come to life. Fans of legendary comic artists such as Jim Lee, Frank Miller, George Perez, and Neal Adams will be stunned by the action on screen, and the way in which actors Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot have brought these iconic characters to life. Nothing is wasted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and you see every dollar on screen, which makes for a visually arresting and immersive film experience that sucks audiences right into the heart of the action.

2. Jesse Eisnberg – boy genius

If there’s one character who single-handedly steals the film then it’s Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor — a thoroughly obsessive billionaire whose intensity is absolutely manic. Eisenberg is all over the show, and this helps to bolster Luthor’s eclectic, analytical mind which is working a mile a minute on his grand scheme to bring Metropolis’ greatest hero to his knees. With his very different interpretation of Luthor, and the lengths that he goes as the character, we can’t think of anyone better suited than Eisenberg.

1. The Dark Knight returns

When Ben Affleck was first announced to be playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, there were some who doubted he could ever pull off the role of the Dark Knight. Well not only does he pull it off, but Affleck has crafted the most definitive and dark Batman we’ve ever seen on screen. His channeling of the dual conflict and identity that lies at the heart of Bruce Wayne/Batman drives Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice forward. Brooding, calculating, obsessive and a physically imposing beast, Affleck’s Batman is an unstoppable force of nature who will destroy anyone that attempts to take the life or freedom of another, delivering his judgement with extreme prejudice. The night does indeed belong to the Bat, and Dawn of Justice succeeds on the complete commitment of its lead star.

The countdown is on for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and we’re pumped for this brand new addition to the DC Cinematic Universe. With some amazing trailers and tantalising images setting the scene for what’s to come, we thought we’d countdown the five things that we want to see from Zack Snyder’s new mega blockbuster:

5. The origins of Lex Luthor

He’s the whizz kid of Metropolis, and this ultra billionaire has considerable hate for both the alien called Superman and his arch business rival Bruce Wayne. Jesse Eisenberg appears to be portraying Luthor as a two-faced individual who possesses both a pleasant and slightly chipper public face, while his private one is far more calculating, vindictive and extreme. We’d love to see how he got this way, and some sort of origin flashback that would provide insight into his obsession to dominate the business world, and the reasons why he wants Superman to kneel before him.

4. A death in the family

Since the second trailer we’ve known that Gotham has had a bad history with ‘freaks dressed like clowns’, and with a monument set up to honour Bruce Wayne’s slain companion, Jason Todd, in the Batcave also revealed in previous trailers, we’re hoping to see some kind of flashback to the day The Joker (Jared Leto), stole his life from Bruce.

3. Diana, Princess of Themyscira

While we know that Gal Gadot is stepping up and kicking ass as DC’s resident warrior princess Wonder Woman, we’re really keen to see she brings to Wonder Woman’s role as a Princess of Themyscira. In particular, we’re curious as to whether Themyscira is still a mystery to the world’s population, or whether this all-female island is in fact a global power nation.

2. The brawl of the century

The fight is on in the battle of century between DC’s titans, and we’re expecting an all-out war from this. Forget a rematch between McGregor and Aldo, this fight pits two superheroes with nothing left to lose in a battle of no-holds-barred, winner takes all stakes. Not only do we have Affleck’s Batman armed to the teeth in a high-tech exoskeleton, but it appears that he’s willing to do anything to put Superman down. Will we see a good helping of kryptonite? We will have to wait and see.

1. The coming of Darkseid

He’s the greatest and most powerful villain in the DC Universe, and arch-tyrant Darkseid has already been teased in images related to the nightmares suffered by Bruce Wayne. Not only have we witnessed the appearance of the Omega symbol, but we’ve also seen what appears to be a quick shot of Darkseid’s minions, The Parademons. We would lose our minds if the Justice League came together in a final shot at the end of the film, with the presence of the great tyrant of Apokolips teased in the distance.

The final trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is here, and the stage is finally set for these two titans to go at one another with everything they’ve got.

This epic final trailer reveals some interesting moments that’ll excite and puzzle fans at the same time. While most have been predicting the upcoming battle to go Superman’s way given his unbeatable strength, the trailer does show a moment of vulnerability for the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) at the hands of Batman (Ben Affleck). A flirtatious moment is also seen between Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), who reminds the mysterious billionaire that he’s never met a woman like her.

Director Zack Snyder has really set the world alight with anticipation for Batman v Superman, and has confirmed that its events will act as a prequel to 2017’s Justice League.

Prepare yourselves for 2016’s biggest movie event when Dawn of Justice is released in cinemas on March 24 in Australia and New Zealand and on March 25 in the US and UK.

A brawl of mythic proportions is readying itself in the explosive new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

After winning over San Diego Comic Con 2015 with its awe-inspiring first trailer, this second trailer builds on the first, promising raw action, and intense characterisation in a showdown that will rock the DC Cinematic Universe to its core.

Prepare yourselves for an earth-shattering event when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is released next year on March 24, 2016 in Australia and New Zealand, and March 25, 2016 in the US and UK.
