Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider-Man has become a cornerstone of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has re-affirmed Spider-Man’s presence as a cultural icon across three awe-inspiring films, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with his presence as an Avenger, a whole new generation has been introduced to the character, while Holland has himself brought a new energy and pop to the character, and showcased how more than ever, Spider-Man remains a relevant and impressive character.

And now, he’s set to return as the intrepid web-crawler in Spider-Man: Brand New Day from director Destin Daniel Cretton, and this new trailer promises an experience that is set to end everything you thought you knew about the character of Spider-Man.

Watch the all-new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

Both Holland and Daniel Cretton jump headfirst into the action of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and this trailer and movie aren’t wasting any time, shaping up to be an all-new experience for audiences. While growing pains were an essential part of the character of Peter Parker/Spider-Man across this series, we now see an older, more world-weary Peter Parker, who has lost both his lover MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned Weeks (Jacob Batalon) at his own choosing, and his own selflessness starts to falter and fall in on him, with unexpected, and dangerous consequences.

While battling his own powers and spiralling out in the process, Peter also gets caught up with a host of new characters. These include Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), who is none too pleased about Parker’s higher moral code, but still manages to get a few shots off. There’s also the now-completely human Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), who serves as Peter’s professor and mentor. Both of these heroes will play a key part in his growth within Brand New Day.

Then you’ve got the villains, and what a showtime this time around. We finally get to see Michael Mando step up as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, a vicious criminal with a grudge against Parker. He wears a suit of armour equipped with a mechanised scorpion-like tail and is ready to settle a very personal score. The trailer also teases appearances from Boomerang, Tarantula, and the ninja organisation known as The Hand. There’s also a mysterious new villain keen to turn Parker’s life upside down. Brand New Day is about to get very interesting.

For director Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day offers an opportunity to pay homage to Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s most personal creation. It’s a chance to celebrate the history and lineage of what this character represents for so many people. This sense of respect shows in every facet of Brand New Day.

And not only is the new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day not only promising a completely kick-ass cinema experience for audiences, but it also happens to now be THE BIGGEST TRAILER LAUNCH OF ALL TIME! That’s right, this new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day has amassed more than a BILLION VIEWS in just four days, prompting Holland and some very happy fans to say THANK YOU to the whole world!

In 2016, The Accountant roared onto the big screen out of nowhere and completely rewired the action-thriller game. A high-octane mix of brains, bullets, and sheer originality, it turned heads and pulled in a loyal cult following almost overnight. Now, nearly a decade later, director Gavin O’Connor and the mighty Ben Affleck are back – and this time, they’ve brought some serious firepower in the form of Jon Bernthal. The Accountant 2 cranks the intensity WAY past eleven, and it’s a wicked, white-knuckle family reunion that action fans are going to eat up!

When someone close to her is killed by unknown assassins, Treasury Agent Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) is forced to contact Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) to solve the murder. With the help of his estranged but highly lethal brother Braxton (Jon Bernthal), Chris applies his brilliant mind and less-than-legal methods to piece together the unsolved puzzle. As they get closer to the truth, the trio draw the attention of some of the most ruthless killers alive — all intent on putting a stop to their search.

The Accountant was an incredibly fresh watch within the action-thriller genre, and director Gavin O’Connor and screenwriter Bill Dubuque really pushed the genre into new places with their original approach to both narrative and action, and this film made a real impact on audiences who were looking for something different. The creativity and innovation on behalf of both O’Connor and Dubuque (who also happens to have created the critically acclaimed Ozark) were off the charts, and now they’re back to bring the second chapter of Christian Wolff’s dangerous service to the big screen in The Accountant 2. And it’s one hell of a ride. With The Accountant 2 they’re turning the dial even higher, mixing identity crises, broken family ties, high-stakes human trafficking conspiracies, ruthless cartels, and deadly rogue assassins into one adrenaline-spiked cocktail. It’s fierce, it’s relentless, and it goes off like a stick of dynamite.

Ben Affleck steps back into the shadows as Christian Wolff, the high-functioning autistic math savant turned underground accountant-for-hire and deadly hitman, and man does he own this role. Affleck’s performance digs even deeper this time around, delivering a character that is just as lethal but now fighting an internal war for some semblance of normalcy. O’Connor lets him peel back the layers of Christian’s mind—showing the aching desire for connection and love beneath all that precision and violence. It’s unexpectedly moving, and it makes Christian Wolff an even more fascinating, heartbreaking figure. Affleck nails it with a performance that’s both stone-cold badass and surprisingly soulful. You will not see this side of him coming.

What happens when you put a sibling with autism, the other with ADHD, add machine guns and set the dial to 11? You get The Accountant 2 and its fucking crazy good. And a very key part to the excitement and fun of this sequel chapter arrives in the form of Jon Bernthal, and he has an absolute blast in the role of Braxton Wolff, an unhinged and brutal assassin/mercenary for hire to the highest bidder, whose moto is ‘have gun, will travel’ and who is combination of impulse, flashiness, abrasiveness, and just raw unfiltered action. Bernthal’s portrayal makes for an arresting watch, coming from the fact that he’s a hitman with ‘impulse control’ issues, and he’s constantly playing the devil on his brother’s shoulders, saying ‘DO IT!”. Bernthal is electric here; one minute cracking jokes, the next cracking skulls, and he injects an outrageous amount of fun into the mix. His chemistry with Affleck is absolutely dynamite, and together, they form the most chaotic, hilarious, and dangerous brotherly duo you’ll see on screen this year.

One of the coolest things about The Accountant 2 is how it keeps you on your toes. Sure, it’s a tight, intense thriller in spirit, but O’Connor also folds in this brilliant family drama and rogue buddy-cop energy that constantly surprises you. You never really know if Christian and Braxton are gonna hug it out or blow something (or someone) up—and that tension, that unpredictability, is what makes the movie so much damn fun. Every scene crackles with the possibility of violence or tenderness (or both), and you just hang on for dear life.

Oh, and let’s talk about THAT scene. Yes, THAT scene. Picture this: Christian and Braxton, cowboy hats on, line-dancing to “Copperhead Road” in a neon-lit honky-tonk after a night of absolute carnage. It’s the bro’s night out you NEVER knew you needed, and it’s freaking glorious. Wild, weird, hilarious — it’s the kind of moment that cements The Accountant 2 as not just an action film, but a movie with huge personality.

Action and suspense pack out The Accountant 2, and director Gavin O’Connor zeroes in on the violence of the film with perfect detail, and it’s utterly lethal to witness. This is some of the best full-auto Spec Ops action we’ve seen on screen in a long time. O’Connor knows what he’s doing as an action, and Affleck and Bernthal have both been trained to perfection and their utter nail drivers as the Wolff brothers who go down range – AND HARD! Every bullet sings, every impact hurts, and when the Wolff brothers unleash hell in the film’s final third-act showdown — well, you’re gonna want to be strapped into your seat because it is ballistic mayhem. On a VMAX screen with full surround sound, the bangs, the crashes, the explosions: you feel EVERY SINGLE ONE. This is straight-up tactical chaos in the best way imaginable. And for everyone out there wondering what it would be like if Batman and the Punisher teamed up with a small arsenal, look no further — because Affleck and Bernthal bring that exact level of savagery here.

And credit where it’s due: the action isn’t just empty spectacle. O’Connor keeps the stakes personal. Every firefight matters because you’re invested in Christian and Braxton — whether they’re arguing about childhood trauma or just trying to survive the night, the emotional core is always there. It’s smart filmmaking, wrapped up in a badass, bullet-riddled package. In short? The Accountant 2 delivers. Big time. It’s everything you want from a sequel: bigger, crazier, more emotional, and packed to the rafters with action. Affleck and Bernthal absolutely crush it, Gavin O’Connor’s direction is razor-sharp, and the story actually goes somewhere, deepening the mythology around Christian Wolff while keeping the thrills rolling at a breathless pace.

Whether you’re here for the brotherly banter, the bloody showdowns, or just the pure joy of seeing two elite operators unleash hell, The Accountant 2 is pure cinema adrenaline—and it’s an absolute MUST-WATCH on the biggest, loudest screen you can find.

It’s time to give the Devil his due.

One of 2025’s most anticipated releases is far away the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, which after much work, and plenty of hype has delivered us our first look at the series with a brand new trailer and star Charlie Cox is mad as hell as Matt Murdock, the Hell’s Kitchen resident vigilante is about to unleash the beast!

Watch the brand new ‘Redemption’ trailer for Daredevil: Born Again below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

In Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.

This new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again is a fantastic treat for long-time Daredevil fans who have been longing for the return of this fan favourite chracter, and after much back and forth it appears that Disney+ will be keeping the down and gritty atmosphere of the famed Netflix series. There’s a whole lot of ruckus and plenty of ground and pound action, with all of it anchored by one hell of a showdown between Cox’s Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s crime bopss turned would- be politician Wilson Fisk.

This trailer promises an intense and dramatic new season, taking inspiration from the comic book classic, ‘Born Again’ by veteran creators Frank Miller and David, Daredevil: Born Again reunites the original cast of Netflix’s hit Daredevil series including Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Marianna-Fisk, along with confirming the presence of Wilson Bethel as the psychotic FBI agent turned assassin Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, and also sees the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher. And he’s not done with delivery his own brand of heavy metal, belt-fed, full auto justice!

The trailer is loose on plot points, and instead just gives an idea of what fans can expect from the new series, but it’s shaping up to be an epic watch for Dardevil and Punisher fans, and it’s awesome to see them back at home in the MCU, and with the series pushing forward with a HARD-R rating.

Mark your calendars for March 4 and the release of Daredevil: Born Again for the devil’s work is never done.

The passion, exhilaration and acceleration of the 24 Hours of Le Mans raceway track is captured in all its glory in James Mangold’s bold and daring new vision in Ford v Ferrari, which charts the true story of a small team of rebels who decided to take on the impossible.

Based on the true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

With Ford v Ferrari, director James Mangold (Logan, Walk The Line) puts everything up on the big screen here and the result is a film of incredible vision and scope as he tells the ultimate story of David vs Goliath. Placing his audience right on the front line of the race tracks of the mid-1960s, Mangold tells a gripping story of two men, intrepid race car designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and maverick driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) as they did the impossible and tried to dethrone Ferrari as the king of Le Mans. With his film, Mangold captures the very essence of the macho competitiveness of the track and it makes for one hell of a rush. His work on Ford v Ferrari is a love letter to the power of racing and those who give their lives to proving that there’s no limit to how fast you can go.

In making this film it’s clear that Mangold had one burning vision: to place his audience right at the heart of the action. And he does just that. The film’s racing scenes are sharp, swift and charged with adrenaline, and Mangold and cinematographer Phedon Papamichael place the action right at the heart of the car chases and crank up the acceleration. Whether it’s the arching corners of Daytona or the power of the Mulsanne Straight, which Christian Bale’s Ken Miles repeatedly guns down, again and again, Mangold absolutely goes for it and there are plenty of moments where you’ll be holding your breath. I can’t remember a piece of cinema that captures the essence of the racing experience quite like Ford v Ferrari, and the throttle doesn’t let up for a moment.

Mangold has assembled one hell of a talented cast for this one and leading the pack is superstar Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby, the legendary automotive designer who was charged to achieve the impossible. Damon’s Shelby is a straight-up Cowboy, and the actor nails Shelby’s iconic Texas twang and is an absolute force of nature here. Comprised of plenty of spark and compelling charisma, Shelby is full-on in his approach to racing and after being tasked by the deuce himself, Henry Ford II (Tracy Letts) to beat Ferrari on the Le Mans track he goes for it with everything he’s got. Damon has a lot of fun in the role of Shelby and he jives well with Bale’s Miles and their pairing makes for one amazing dream team.

Placed directly in the driver’s seat of Ford v Ferrari is revered thespian Christian Bale as Ken Miles, a WWII veteran and maverick driver who isn’t one to play by the rules and who likes to do things his own way. A mercurial character in every sense of the word, Miles is a god behind the wheel, and his obsession with speed and a need for the constant pursuit of excellence makes him Shelby’s choice to take on the Le Mans track. Bale once again morphs his personal character into that of Miles and he’s committed to the part. Not only does he get some time behind the wheel here, but he brings to life the concentration and force of will that makes a champion. He works well beside Damon and you’re constantly smiling thanks to his antics both on and off the track.

With Damon’s Shelby as the brains and Bale’s Miles as the action, the vision of Ford v Ferrari arrives on screen in the form of Jon Bernthal’s Lee Iacocca, a sharp-suited, silver-tongued Ford executive who has a vision and who sees Shelby and Miles as Ford’s way to defeat Ferrari head on at Le Mans. In the role of Iacocca, Bernthal turns in a straight-up cool performance and his slick-talking style gives the film plenty of energy. Bernthal is very much the middle man of the film and acts as the go-between between Shelby and Ford Motors. While he’s got his own battles to fight in the hallways of Ford, he’s the ally that Shelby and Miles need to win this historic race and he does a damn fine job here with his performance.

In terms of its style, Ford v Ferrari is a true underdog story of mythic proportions and Mangold captures the essence of this on-screen. He showcases the impossibility of the task ahead of Shelby and Miles in just how the hell can these guys beat Ferrari with a Ford. Mangold takes us through all the steps as these men build out their plan of attack and step by step, through creativity and ingenuity build up a team and a car, in the now-famous Ford GT40, to take on the track and beat Ferrari at their own game. Gear heads will love the detail that Mangold goes into here within the film, as he takes audiences behind the scenes of how this grand car was conceived and then built to win.

Alongside its gripping tale of motorized competition, Ford v Ferrari also has some serious style to it, and Mangold revels in letting this shine through. Set during the zenith of the 1960s, Ford v Ferrari is packed out with the uber macho cool of the decade and this is recognized through everything from production design and wardrobe, along with the film’s thumping soundtrack which is filled out with classic tunes from the era. All of it builds up a portrait that is easy to lose yourself in and amps up the film’s considerable drama and the action that unfurls from there.

But alongside it’s pumping action scenes and slick production style, Ford v Ferreri is ultimately the story of friendship and brotherhood that is shared between two men. Through their competitive spirit and desire to win, Shelby and Miles form a unique partnership and pairing in this film, and Mangold’s story examines how the two of them came together to be champions and the friendship that is at the heart of this. Both of these men truly trust each other and are willing to go all the way to prove that they can indeed win out in the end and Mangold’s film is a testament to the power that we get when we trust in others and work together for a greater goal.

Ford v Ferrari is filmmaking on a whole other level and those who witness it need to view it on the biggest screen possible. This is an incredible piece of cinema to behold and from its direction to performances, style and on-the-edge track action race scenes, all of it will spin you around for one amazing lap.

It’s a David vs Goliath story for the ages, and now the first trailer for the adrenaline charged true life story of the 1966 Le Mans race and the automobile battle that would change history is here in Ford v. Ferrari.

Watch the edgy first trailer below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Based on the true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British-born driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.

Director James Mangold (Logan, Walk The Line) is returning to cinemas and I couldn’t be more happier with his latest project in the form of the uber macho, ultra cool tale of man and automobile in Ford v. Ferrari, and the colossal story of two mavericks: British racer Ken Miles (Christian Bale) and American designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) who went to war against Ferrari on the legendary track of Le Mans to prove who was top dog in the world of racing.

Set to the tune of The Rolling Stones quintessentially cool song ‘Gimme Shelter’, this first trailer for Ford v. Ferrari buzzes with energy and really gets your heart going thanks to Mangold’s magnificent direction, two stellar performances from his lead stars and a whole lot of track pushing racing!

Keeping to the same style that he first cemented with Logan, Mangold has kept everything in camera and all of the danger on the track is 100% real! With dynamic cinematography and plenty of outlandish wrecks, Mangold wants to give audiences the experience of just how dangerous and addictive the track of Le Mans is and from what I’ve seen here the director has truly succeeded.

Ford v. Ferrari is cinema that’s straight out on the edge and you can prepare yourself for one hell of an adrenaline charged time when this epic piece of sports history comes rolling into cinemas on November 14.

Ever since he directed the awe inspiring character driven superhero film Logan (which also happened to be my favourite film of 2017), everyone has been waiting to see what director James Mangold would do next.

Well, this visually astute director is back with an even more ambitious project as he’s set to tell the ambitious David and Goliath story of the 1966 24 Hours of Le Man Race when hotshot driver Ken Miles ( Christian Bale) and brilliant automobile designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) went up against Ferrari with a brand new Ford racing team, and all new car, the Ford GT40 in Ford v Ferrari.

It’s a gripping tale of man, machine and competition and in the hands of Mangold we’re definitely in for something special.

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we now have a brand new look into the film with some simply gorgeous new images which highlight Bale’s Miles and Damon’s Shelby, and you can feel the masculine adrenaline energy at play here.

Opening up about the style that his director wished to evoke, Damon said “as we were making it, we joked that it was the last movie ever. Luckily, we had this great character drama that was inside this other story.” Mangold also discussed his desire for an old-school approach to the filming of Ford v Ferrari saying, “these are real people with love and loss and fears that aren’t handled in three mini-moments between the next 100-decibel, 12-minute action sequence. And it’s an acting tour de force — Matt and Christian have never been better.”

For Mangold everything about Ford v Ferrari had to be practical and this of-course lent itself to the film’s high octane race sequences. Echoing his work on Logan, Mangold said “one of the main goals with Logan was that I felt the superhero genre had gotten so CGI’d, so I wanted to make it as emotionally and physically real as possible. And that very much carried over into Ford v Ferrari. I wanted to see a racing film where the cars weren’t all digital creations [and] we were really out there on the track. And not just so we could talk about it when we’re doing press, but because it actually makes a physical difference when you see it on screen.”

Ford v Ferrari also attracted a phenomenal cast to star alongside Bale and Damon which also includes Caitriona Balfe as Miles wife Mollie Miles, Tracey Letts as Henry Ford II and Jon Bernthal as Lee Iacocca.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Set against the backdrop of 1966’s 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France, the film follows fearless British racer Ken Miles (Bale) and maverick American car designer Carroll Shelby’s (Damon) mission to build a revolutionary car that would allow Ford to challenge the dominating Ferrari brand.

Ford v Ferrari is a film to get really excited about and with the promise of Mangold’s old school visual style, the combination of Christian Bale and Matt Damon and the some full throttle racing, audiences in for one hell of a ride when the film arrives in cinemas on November 14.

April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, battle-hardened army sergeant Don ‘Wardaddy’ Collier (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Out-numbered, out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, ‘Wardaddy’ and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

History Is Violent

In a compelling portrayal of the final battlefields of WWII, Fury transports audiences to a time and place that many saw, but few ever returned from. Director David Ayer holds nothing back in his depiction of the brutality of war, and the endless fight that it appears to be.

Living off of sips of hope that they might see the end, the men of the 2nd Armoured Division are taking each day as it comes, knowing that this conflict is coming to an end, but without the comfort of certainty. Dropping the audience in the blood, guts and mud of the German front, any possibility or hope for glory is absent in this chronicle. Instead, you have ordinary men who are just trying to survive, while still retaining some of the humanity that they started off with.

The battles comes quick in Fury, with the pace and vigor of an ambush leaving men broken and dead. The most impressive battle of the film has to be the showdown between the crew of the Fury, a M4A3E8 Sherman tank and a German Tiger I, which must be seen to be believed. Ayer also injects a good dose of symbolism within the film, and when combined with authentic costuming, set design and Steven Price’s haunting score, creates a compelling film that honours the men who fought and sacrificed themselves.

Best Job I Ever Had

When it comes to the cast, Ayer has assembled a dream team with five amazing actors portraying incredibly different characters who inhabit the interior of a rolling Sherman tank named ‘Fury’.

Brad Pitt leads the pack as Sgt. Don ‘Wardaddy’ Collier, a veteran of the North African, Normandy, and Belgium campaigns who has seen far too much war, and understands that men must die before his job can be finished. In Pitt’s performance, you get the sense of a man who has slowly but steadily lost his humanity and replaced this with the mission of getting his men home. No matter the task given to him by his superiors, Collier’s first priority is his crew, who affectionately call him ‘Top’. Pitt roughs it up as Collier, showing some serious aggression, and a ‘kill first, think later’ philosophy. Just like his crew, audiences will look to Collier in awe thanks to Pitt’s rousing performance.

At odds with Collier is new replacement gunner Norman Ellison, played by Logan Lerman — a naïve ‘green boy’ fresh from basic who has never seen the inside of a tank. Lerman effectively portrays the new kid who has no comprehension of what real violence is, and gets a very mean lesson thanks to Collier. Lerman also showcases an empathy as Norman, which also breaks up the rawness of Fury, giving the film some of its most touching moments.

The conscience of the tank crew comes in the form of Shia LaBeouf’s Boyd ‘Bible’ Swan, and as his name suggests, is a firm believer in God and a higher calling. Swan forms somewhat of a collective conscience for the crew, guiding them through the horrors of the war. However, as the operator of the tank’s main gun, he also dispenses quite a bit of it as well. This creates great conflict for Swan, and LeBouf expresses it perfectly cementing his place as the film’s scene stealer.

Michael Pena takes on the role of tank driver Trini ‘Gordo’ Garcia, a Mexican America who brings a certain flair to the crew of the ‘Fury’, as well as some slick driving abilities. As the prime navigator of the tank, Garcia is in the thick of the action at all times, and maintains a hard attitude when it comes to Norman.

Finally Jon Bernthal completes the crew as gunner assistant Grady ‘Coon-Ass’ Travis — the resident bully of the ‘Fury’ who has no time for Norman, and develops an antagonistic relationship with him. As things progress, you come to believe that he wasn’t always like this, and that the war has had a detrimental effect on his psyche and behaviour. Bernthal completely disappears into the role of Travis, creating a character that audiences may not respect, but will certainly come to empathise with.

Fury is a whirlwind of blood, guts and loyalty, and it stands as a compelling vision of the rawness of war. Intensely dramatic, it is undoubtedly one of the best films of the year.
