Following on from the previous teaser trailer, this new look full trailer for Dune: Part Three promises an incredible and scale of the narrative that follows Dune/em> and Dune: Part Two and now finds Paul Atreides, better known as Muad’Dib, now declared the ruler of the known Universe, and who with an armed legion of fanatical warriors has unleashed a genocidal crusade that brought wanton destruction and chaos across his domain. But now the seeds of conspiracy and revolt hand in the balance and rule of Muad’Dib is set to be challenged and it shall make way for a cinematic experience that will leave audiences utterly flawed.

Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet looks to be delivery a far darker and more intense performance this time around as Paul Atreides as his megalomaniacal rule is threatened fro m within, and Chalamet is setting up a very interesting arc and development for this his character. Another key player who features prominently within the final narrative, and in the trailer, is Jason Momoa who returns as Hayt, a ghola or manufactured human who has been craeted in the likeness of Duncan Idaho, the sword master of House Atreides who died fighting to protect Paul, and who is now a pawn in the hands of the calculating Scytale (Robert Pattinson), a Tleilaxu Face Dancer who executes a plan to dethrone Paul.

Now, having seen Marty Supreme, the answer is clear: it is incredible. This is one of the most awe-inspiring and original pieces of cinema to arrive in the last decade. Marty Supreme doesn’t just entertain; it overwhelms, consumes, and electrifies. Seeing it in a cinema is exactly what movies are supposed to feel like.

Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, goes to hell and back in pursuit of greatness.

Swinging for the Fences – Josh Safdie Unleashed

Josh Safdie returns behind the camera in his first solo directorial effort, once again partnering with A24, and the result feels as though it’s arrived completely out of nowhere. Marty Supreme is a film that demands attention and refuses to slow down, dragging audiences along for every glorious, chaotic second of its runtime.

At its core, the film is a character study of unchecked ambition — of how far some people are willing to go to taste success, no matter the cost. From the opening moments, Safdie sets a ferocious pace. The story loops, drives, crashes, and ricochets across the screen, constantly evolving and mutating. It’s an exhilarating exercise in cinematic craft, and a reminder of how deeply film can still grab an audience when it’s fearless in its execution.

By the time Marty’s paddle hits the table, you’re utterly invested — not just in the sport, but in the madness driving the man behind it.

Timothée Chalamet’s Most Unhinged Performance

Taking centre stage is Timothée Chalamet as Marty Mauser, the film’s brash instigator and self-destructive schemer. Loud, passionate, vain, narcissistic, reckless, and completely unfiltered, Marty is an all-emotion, no-logic character blinded by his own ambition and immune to consequences.

Chalamet is mesmerising. Marty continually digs himself deeper into disaster, layer by layer, and while much of the suffering he endures is entirely self-inflicted, and arguably deserved, he remains an undeniable underdog. You may hate him. You may recoil from his choices. But you still want him to win. It’s a performance that pushes Chalamet into new territory, and once he locks in, you simply cannot look away.

A Perfectly Assembled Ensemble

While Chalamet dominates, Marty Supreme is elevated by Safdie’s impeccable supporting cast. Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Tyler, the Creator, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Luke Manley, and Kevin O’Leary all add texture, tension, and volatility to Marty’s world.

Each performance feeds into the film’s combustible atmosphere, creating a living, breathing ecosystem of opportunists, enablers, predators, and dreamers. The energy is infectious, and every character feels perfectly placed within Safdie’s meticulously constructed chaos.

Marty himself mirrors the ping-pong balls he batters across tournament tables, spiky, uncontrolled, slammed around, constantly searching for balance while trying not to be knocked off the edge entirely. This is a film driven by feeling, emotion, and raw cinematic force.

I haven’t had an experience like this in a cinema for some time, one where I was genuinely shocked, reactive, expressive, and emotionally rattled by what I was watching. Every moment left its mark. It was exhilarating. It was exhausting. It was brilliant.

Final Verdict

Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme is an absolute ace: a bold, ferocious reminder of what the power of movies can still evoke. Every element clicks into place, and audiences will be utterly floored by what unfolds on screen. This is cinema that grabs you by the collar, refuses to let go, and leaves you buzzing long after the final frame fades to black.

Now celebrated filmmaker Paul King, who wowed audiences with his Paddington adaptations, charts a new course for the character of Willy Wonka and takes audiences on a galivanting gourmet getaway with Wonka, which charts how famed chocolatier Willy Wonka became the sensation we all know and love.

King makes this film for both young and old, bringing to life a vividly bright and storybook-styled world to life as he realizes the world of Wonka. Rising Hollywood A-lister Timothée Chalamet has repeatedly proved himself to be a natural performer. He’s an actor who has complete control of the cinematic stage, and his performance as Willy Wonka is no exception. In the role of Wonka, Chalamet beams with joy as he prances about the street, and you feel the imagination and enthusiasm that lies at the heart of Willy. Chalamet’s performance is that of the eternal optimist, and he makes Willy always see the best in every situation, and his zany mannerisms and inventive quick-thinking always help him out of any jam. Chalamet has an immense amount of fun with the role, and audiences will be spellbound by his audience.

But Wonka is not Chalamet’s film alone, and a collected cast of some of Britain’s best talent makes their mark on the picture. Academy Award winner Olivia Coleman and comedian Tom Davis are unscrupulously wicked as Mrs. Scrubbit and her dim-witted assistant Bleacher, and Chalamet also finds himself tackling the twisted and fiendish Chocolate Cartel made up of the nefarious Arthur Slugworth (Paterson Joseph) and his loathsome compatriots Prodnose (Matt Lucas) and Fickelgruber (Mathew Baynton). But Willy doesn’t have to face these dasdastardly villains alone, and he’s joined by his friends in the Wash Gang, including Jim Carter as Abacus Crunch, Natasha Rothwell as Piper Benz, Rich Fulcher as Larry Chucklesworth and Rakhee Thakrar as Lottie Bell. And finally, Hugh Grant makes his presence known as the snarky and opinionated Oompa-Loompa Lofty. All of the cast hit their mark in Wonka, and they each add to the fun and liveliness of the picture.

From start to finish, Wonka is a delectable cinema delight and a perfect treat for this holiday. Everything about this movie comes together, and it is filled to the brim with a wild wizardry of wondrous whimsy that makes for a picture of pure imagination.
