Hollywood megastars George Clooney and Brad Pitt are teaming up for the first time in seventeen years for Wolfs. This slick new crime-thriller-comedy is sure to grab attention and put these two stars to work in an audacious and fun movie that is a throwback to those classic old-school crime thrillers that we all dig.

Watch the all-new trailer for Wolfs below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Global superstars George Clooney and Brad Pitt team up for the action comedy Wolfs. Clooney plays professional fixer Jack, hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer, Nick (Pitt), shows up and the two lone wolves are forced to work together, they find their night spiralling out of control in ways neither one of them expected.

As a pair of mismatched fixers who are thrown together and face one hell of a traumatic night, George Clooney and Brad Pitt are in their element in this quintessentially cool noir-thriller/broey comedy, and there’s plenty of tension and a good heap of hijinks that will keep audiences hooked in Wolfs.

Spider-Man: No Way Home filmmaker Jon Watts directs, and you can feel the energy and composed style of the picture that Watts wanted to imbue the production with. There’s a very real vibe to this picture, and we reckon audiences are going to be in for a hell of a surprise when Wolfs arrives in cinemas.

Get ready for a hell of a sophisticated ride when Wolfs will arrive in cinemas on September 19.

Hollywood A-lister George Clooney once again steps behind the camera to spin his own kind of magic with a film of underdog courage and the pursuit of victory with the true story of The Boys in the Boat, and the result is an energetic and heart-thumping experience for audiences.

Taking audiences back to the downtrodden days that followed the Great Depression, The Boys in the Boat is about the 1936 University of Washington rowing team that competed for gold at the Summer Olympics in Berlin. This inspirational true story follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrust into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world.

Based on the true story of the University of Washington 1938 mens rowing-8, the Washington Huskies, and adapted from the best-selling book by Daniel James Brown, The Boys in the Boat is a riveting and drama-filled tale of courage, persistence and the will-to-win, and celebrated A-lister George Clooney brings a giant level of passion and enthusiasm that passes over to audiences. Clooney approach to this grand story of collegiate athletics and the glory of the Olympic Games is to frame it around a story of the competitive spirit, and at every moment, you feel the burning need of this downtrodden yet spritely crew and the nation they represent clawing their way back to the glory through discipline and hustle. Sports movies have a unique way of capturing the enthusiasm of audiences, and this is exactly what Clooney brings to his narrative.

The Boys in the Boat is told from the perspective of Washington rower Joe Rantz, a down-on-his-luck university student who is caught up in the aftermath of the Great Depression and is looking for any possible way to get ahead. Stepping into Rantz’s spot is Callum Turner, and the young British actor channels a true All-American quality that adds to the flavour of the story. Rantz’s true life made for the ultimate underdog story, and he overcame immense odds on his path to glory. Turner balances Rantz’s All-American quality with a deeply felt level of emotional drama and baggage from his awful upbringing. As you watch him rise like a Phoenix, you cannot help but dutifully admire this incredible man and his unbreakable spirit.

Stepping into the position of coach and mentor is Joel Edgerton as Al Ulbrickson, the rowing coach of the Huskies, and it’s a totally different performance from Edgerton than we’ve seen before. Edgerton steps into the role of Ulbrickson and brings a forceful, tough-as-nails presence to the character. He understands the odds that his crew are up against and won’t accept anything less than absolute commitment. But Edgerton isn’t just a strict disciplinarian as Ulbrickson; he builds an incredible level of belief in his young crew that sees them pull together and, through his ability to steer their talent and ambition, sees them taking to the greatest level of sporting heights imaginable.

Through Clooney’s talent for direction, the incredible detail of the film’s ambience and setting, and a roaringly exciting story of a group of underdogs going for gold, The Boys in the Boat makes for an extremely energetic watch. In watching this era, you feel like you’ve entered the era of the mid-1930s of collegiate sport, and no detail is missed in bringing to life the setting of this picture. This also extends to the film’s third act and the recreation of the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, which coincided with Adolf Hitler’s rise to power. This early battle of democracy vs fascism takes place on the lake, and the film’s luminous rowing ‘battle’ will spike your adrenaline as the Washington huskies put it all on the line for glory.

George Clooney again strikes gold with a compelling true story of a group of underdogs who put it all on the line and came out on top in The Boys in the Boat. It makes for a heart-moving and passionate tale that audiences will adore this Christmas.

If you’re seeking a bit of fun, then the pairing of Julia Roberts and George Clooney for Ticket To Paradise is exactly what is in order. This is a rom-com with a twist, and the pairing of these two leads to plenty of sparks and a fair few laughs that is sure to leave a smile on your face.

Two divorced parents travel to Bali after learning their daughter, Lily, is planning to marry a local, Gede, whom she has just met. They decide to work together to sabotage the wedding to prevent Lily from making the same mistake they made twenty-five years ago.

There’s nothing better than a good romantic-comedy to make you laugh, cry and leave the cinema with a smile, and Ticket To Paradise provides all of those things, plus a few unexpected twists, and it’s a straight-up good time out at the cinema. Directed by Ol Parker (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again), Ticket to Paradise is a rom-com which switches up it’s setting and characters. Finding a new way into the genre with two divorced parents who are completely contemptuous of each other, they soon have to put their differences aside for what they think is the benefit of their daughter after her sudden marriage news. With its beautiful tranquil Bali setting, fun character moments and funnier laughs, Ticket to Paradise is a rom-com that packs in plenty of fun, and takes its audiences by surprise.

The pairing of Julia Roberts and George Clooney in Ticket to Paradise is utterly perfect, who with their effortless chemistry, and ability to riff off of each other, the laughs come quick, and the energy is kept fun. As divorced parents Georgia and David both bring a great mix of emotions to their two characters as a pair of bickering divorces which keeps things interesting. Clooney is effortlessly charming as David, yet also high-strung and holding onto the wrong decisions of his past. Roberts is the over-the-top perfectionist as Georgia, and she’s ready to outdo her ex-husband at every moment. But the pain of her past weighs on her, and her journey in this movie suggests the possibility of a better future. Both of these characters are different from anything that Clooney and Roberts have played before, and they each get to explore new rythms with their performances in this film.

Thanks in part to their effortless chemistry together, Clooney and Roberts make Ticket to Paradise a very fun watch. Whether it’s their creative antics to sabotage their daughter Lily’s (Kaitlyn Dever) wedding, or the classic moment where an over indulgence for beer pong leads to some straight-out loud dance moves set to House of Pain’s classic ‘Jump Around’, all the fun ends up on the screen. And both these A-listers will have you in hysterics. But while the laughs might be hilarious, there are also some very tender moments in Ticket to Paradise, with the ideas of family, love, forgiveness of the past and enjoying the good stuff when you can having a big impact on this narrative. And this makes the story that much sweeter.

Ticket to Paradise is an enchanting tale of how unexpected love can heal the past, and the pairing of Julia Roberts and George Clooney leads to pure gold. Their wit, charm and chemistry make this film a very fun watch, and audiences are certain to enjoy it. So do yourself a favour and don’t save the good stuff for later and get along to this fun-filled watch right away.

Hollywood masterminds Joel and Ethan Coen are back for another brilliant and original tale in Hail, Caesar!. The film chronicles the madness that follows studio fixer Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin), as he tries to find an over-the-top movie star (George Clooney) who disappears from the set of the studio’s biggest tentpole, and now threatens completion of their big event movie.

Here are five reasons why you should definitely line up to watch Hail, Caesar!:

5. The talented tap-dancing of Burt Gurney

Channelling his inner Gene Kelly, Channing Tatum is perfectly cast as tap-dancing whizz and studio A-lister Burt Gurney, who enchants audiences with a rhythmic and choreographic musical number of epic proportions. While audiences have long known that Tatum can definitely shake it, he steps it up a notch as the whimsical Gurney, who may not be quite all he appears to be.

4. The Golden Age of Hollywood

Set during the Hollywood’s golden age of the mid-1950s when big blockbusters ruled the silver screen, Hail, Caesar! utilises a unique setting to tell a compelling and completely hysterical day-in-the-life story. Set amongst the dramas surrounding uber studio Capital Pictures, the film follows both the actors and the studio heads who order them through a range of chaotic situations that threaten to derail the mega project aptly named Hail, Caesar. The Coen’s have a lot of fun with the period detail, while playing around with the history of gossip columns and the deal making that shaped Hollywood.

3. Scarlet Johansson – The impossible starlet

While Eddie Mannix’s day mostly concerns finding missing movie star Baird Whitlock (George Clooney), after he goes missing from the set of Hail, Caesar!, he also finds himself trying to rescue pregnant and unwed starlet DeeAnna Moran from a possible scandal. Making quite the entrance in an epic synchronised swimming scene, Johansson impresses with a thick New Jersey accent and tough demeanor that shatters all illusions we have of the perfect Hollywood starlet. The banter she shares with Brolin’s Mannix is fun to watch, as the two appear to be the only two realists in the crazy world of Hollywood.

2. Eddie Mannix – The no-nonsense studio exec

Cast in the central role of studio ‘fixer’ Eddie Mannix is Coen regular Josh Brolin, who once again makes a big impression on audiences as a no-nonsense but deeply troubled individual. Brolin is both deeply serious and unintentionally hilarious as Mannix, who has a ritualised habit of attending confession in between juggling multiple tasks. While it would be easy to make Mannix a corporate suit and villain, he’s immensely likeable as the only sensible and switched on individual in all of Tinseltown, and you can’t help but respect his commitment to his job and clients.

1. ‘Twer that it were so simple’

But Hail, Caesar’s defining moment comes in a showdown between cowboy musician Hoby Doyle (Alden Ehrenreich) and cultured director Laurence Laurentiz (Ralph Fiennes), on the set of Laurentiz’s new movie. The interaction between these two results in an absolute laughfest, owing mostly to a clash of culture and filmmaking styles. Well worth the watch.
