It was with plenty of surprise that the new trailer for Ebenezer arrived, and this looks like a tantilising and different take presenting an incredibly whimsical, yet gothic take on Charles Dickens classic work, and filmmaker Ti West, who took the horror genre into a bold new direction with his work on X, Pearl and MaXXXine, and he looks to have crafted an environment where Depp can truly take his abilities to conjure up kooky, one-of-a-kind characters, and Ebenezer Scrooge looks like a pitch perfect character for Depp’s talents, and he appears to be having an absolute blast in the part.

Not only does this new trailer showcase an incredibly rich Victorian world, and a fresh take on Charles Dickens’ classic character, but the supporting is also filled with standout talents including the like of Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Arthur Conti, Ellie Bamber, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Charlie Murphy, with Tramell Tillman and Sir Ian McKellen.

In celebration of the arrival of Ebenezer, Depp also took to the stage of San Diego Comic Con and unleashing Scrooge for a very hungry audience, and he made an absolute scene of everything, as only he could, and the result was inspiring, and a taste of what is to come.

This trailer utterly grabs you by the throat, and there are some seriously gnarly moments, including Hagen’s own ‘trimming’ that is sure to make you squirm, and while the full monster is only subtly teased…. when the final revelation is revealed, it’s going to be horrific!

This new trailer for Clayface arrives in accordance with Clayface’s debut at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, which has seen Rhys Harries making his first appearance at the Con, and the welcome be receieved was inspiring, with fans amped for the film, and the scares that await.

In a surprise that took all of us off-guard, Marvel Studios has delivered the first look trailer for what is shaping up to be 2026’s biggest cinematic moment with Avengers: Doomsday.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Directors Anthiny and Joe Russo are back behind the camera to bring to life the latest chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which they helped to define with both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, and Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be a colossal cinematic event as heroes from three seperate multiverses converge together as the threat of the towering Doctor Doom comes to life, and from the drama and emotion of this new trailer, he’s an utterly terrifying foe to comprehend.

Doctor Doom also happens to be portrayed by Marvel legend Robert Downey Jr. whose surprise casting took many by surprise, and we get out first glimpse of him in action, following a subtle tease at the conclusion of The Fantastic Four:n First Steps, and we now see Downey Jr.’s doom go head-to-head with Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and it’s going to be a hell of a brawl.

This new trailer delivers some pretty awesome footage, which showcases the X-Men in action, including James Marsden’s 1990s coded Scott Summers/Cyclops, Rebecca Romaijn as Mystique and Channing Tatum flexing as Gambit, along with highlighting the drawing of all of these universe’s together as the fight against Doctor Doom demands everything of both the Avengers, all the heroes of the multiverse.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there as we get our first look at a return Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) who is still worthy, and his presence at the end of this first look trailer promises a theatrical experience that will be utterly thrilling to behold.

Teaming up with celebrated filmmaker and Academy Award-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Digger delivers Cruise the space to truly go-to town to stretch his acting abilities to the limit. Not since his cult cameo appearance as Les Grossman have we seen Cruise go this extreme, and he really goes all out in Digger as the aged, foul-mouthed, take-no-shit force of American capitalism who in finding himself in a severe world-ending crisis is instantly looking for a way to spin it to his own advantage. And the crazy utterly mounts up from there.

The new trailer, set to Talking Heads’s “Burning Down the House” finds Cruise as the completely loco shut-in Digger Rockwell, an old school Texan oil tycoon, who completely flips out and flat out ignores an ecological disaster of his own making, which also happens to incite a new world war, as he goes to any length to ‘spin the narrative’ to his own advantage. And it looks like so much fun.

This trauler is utterly unexpected and delivers some utterly hell raising moments, and fans of Cruise will be in for a real treat as he utterly commits to this completely cuckoo character, and matched with Alejandro G. Iñárritu off-the-wall direction, well, we could very much see a film that could lead to Academy gold for both performers.

We also have to praise the unique look that Iñárritu and cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki are bringing to Digger as they perpusefully wanted to make the film appear as ‘cinematic as possible’, and shot in on 35mm film using VistaVision equipped with Leica lenses to really make it stand out. And ohh does it.

For audiences seeking something completely different, and right out of left field, Digger sure does deliver, and its about to get all kinds of crazy as audiences will get Tom Cruise going from 0 – 100 when it arrives in cinemas on October 1.

Following on from the previous teaser trailer, this new look full trailer for Dune: Part Three promises an incredible and scale of the narrative that follows Dune/em> and Dune: Part Two and now finds Paul Atreides, better known as Muad’Dib, now declared the ruler of the known Universe, and who with an armed legion of fanatical warriors has unleashed a genocidal crusade that brought wanton destruction and chaos across his domain. But now the seeds of conspiracy and revolt hand in the balance and rule of Muad’Dib is set to be challenged and it shall make way for a cinematic experience that will leave audiences utterly flawed.

Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet looks to be delivery a far darker and more intense performance this time around as Paul Atreides as his megalomaniacal rule is threatened fro m within, and Chalamet is setting up a very interesting arc and development for this his character. Another key player who features prominently within the final narrative, and in the trailer, is Jason Momoa who returns as Hayt, a ghola or manufactured human who has been craeted in the likeness of Duncan Idaho, the sword master of House Atreides who died fighting to protect Paul, and who is now a pawn in the hands of the calculating Scytale (Robert Pattinson), a Tleilaxu Face Dancer who executes a plan to dethrone Paul.

Expanding upon their acclaimed 2024 short film, Wallace and Windsor deliver a wonderfully bizarre story centred on twenty-something shut-in Mary (Hannah Lynch), whose hopes of finally moving out of home are spectacularly derailed following a rather unfortunate extraterrestrial encounter.

After an unexpected projectile-insemination incident leaves her carrying an alien lifeform, Mary suddenly finds herself battling sceptical doctors, an utterly hopeless baby daddy and an overly enthusiastic mother, all while attempting to reclaim control of her future.

It’s a premise that embraces the wonderfully absurd, but beneath the tentacles, slime and creature chaos lies a surprisingly heartfelt story exploring expectation, autonomy, family and growing up. And yes; there’s plenty of goo!

Before making its way home, Mum, I’m Alien Pregnant has already enjoyed an impressive international festival journey.

The film made its World Premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, before delighting audiences at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, and is next set to screen at the Melbourne International Film Festival.

Critics have embraced the film’s fearless originality, with Geek Vibe Nation praising its “sharply written script” that cleverly uses its outlandish premise to explore themes of expectation, choice and parenthood, while Daily Dead described it as “a gooey little sci-fi miracle.”

Whenever we hear the news that Robert Eggers is ready to get back behind the camera, it’s cause for excitement, and after the blood-curdling, gothic glory that was 2024’s Nosferatu, Eggers is ready to return to screens with a project that he has touted as his ‘darkest narrative yet’ in Werwulf…. and its first trailer will chill you to the bone.

Drawing on the director’s fascination with monsters, mythology, and folklore, Eggers dials the drama and intensity back to the 13th century, as a vicious monster prowls the desolate and scarred English countryside, and a cursed man must desperately search for a way back to the light.

Conceived with noted poet and writer Sjón, who helped deliver Eggers’ Viking epic The Northman, this first look at Werwulf promises a tale of unnatural terror as pagan rituals smash against the shadow of Christianity in a world of pure instinct and reaction, and this first trailer definitely left us unnerved.

By giving audiences only a taste of what awaits in Werwulf, Eggers delivers an edgy, uncompromising film whose action is intense and whose horror is beastial and terrifying in its impact. Eggers has also been very clear that Werwulf will not follow the standard ‘werewolf-bite-narrative’ which has now become standard and almost cliché, but instead he has described this story as being very much about trying to outrun a curse that one did not naturally invite.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is front and centre as the unnamed protagonist, merely known as The Cursed Farmer, who is desperate for a chance to shed the beast that lives inside him, and he gives a completely animalistic performance as this shaken and broken man. There’s also the presence of Lily-Rose Depp as The Cursed Farmers’ Wife, who understands that there is a force inside her husband that cannot be tamed, and who desperately gives her love to him, while Willem Defoe could very well deliver his most freakish performance to date as The Hunter who wants to rids the lands of this beats no matter the cost, and his presence is utterly devilish in the narrative.

Shaping the script with Early Modern English, which required Eggers and Sjón to work with Oxford Academics, no detail has been left unturned, and the film carries a richness in both texture and feeling that will bring audiences deeper into its horrific experience. The cinematography of Eggers’ collaborator and friend Jarin Blaschke also deserves praise for its orthochromatic look, which incorporates the grain structure of black-and-white film onto colour film, with the film shot on 35mm Film Stock to amplify the vision Eggers seeks to bring to the big screen.

With its monstrous narrative and blood-drenched visuals of pure horror, Werwulf is an experience not for the faint of heart, and best say your prayers, because we’re pretty sure audiences won’t leave this one unscathed, but with its release this Christmas, we could very much see a picture that could reshape the very experience of horror cinema forever.
