1992’s The Hand That Rocks the Cradle was a seminal thriller that turned the genre on its head and brought a new level of terror into the home with its sinister hand, and now this sensational and terrifying tale is ready to return to audiences for an all-new generation on Disney+ this October.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as Caitlin Morales, an upscale suburban mom who brings a new nanny, Polly Murphy (Maika Monroe), into her home, only to discover she is not the person she claims to be. This chilling new story is backed out with psychological edge, and a hell of a nasty bite, and audiences will be seriously unnerved by this tal eo fmotherhood, possession and a boiling vendetta, and it’s going to make for a gnarly watch.
Director Michelle Garza Cervera has really amped up the edginess and terror that’s present, and it’s going to be a severe battle of wills between Winstead and Monroe, and audiences are going to be genuinely caught off guard with this one.
