Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’ is ready to bring the fire for Season Two
We’ve got a newfound obsession on Prime Video, and it’s undoubtedly Landman, Season One was an explosive watch of Texas fire, and following the shocking Season One finale, we’ve been primed for Season Two… and things are gonna get nuclear in the land of oil and fire!
Watch the brand new trailer for Season Two of Landman below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
Landman is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown” from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.
Once again, the all-encompassing force that is Taylor Sheridan shows off his stuff as writer/producer, and the character of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) is continuing to win over audiences thanks to his non-nonsense, say-it-as-it-is approach to life, and he’s gonna have a hell of a time this season… as everything goes to hell this time around.
Landman was a standout in terms of Sheridan’s growing list of credits, and so far has proved to be our favourite watch of the esteemed creator. And it’ll be fantastic to see Thornton return alongside his firecracker, wildcast of an ex-wife Angela, played with plenty of combustible energy by Ali Larter (and who also happens to be our favourite character by the way), alongside the presence of the great Sam Elliot, who will step out into the oil fields as Norris’s father T.L.
It’s all about to get super explosive, and fans will be in a terrific new chapter of Landman when it arrives on Prime Video on November 17.
