Leading the charge is The Lady, arriving on NEON and Sky On Demand from 24 February. The four-part drama charts the shocking rise and catastrophic fall of Jane Andrews, a former royal dresser who entered Buckingham Palace as Sarah Ferguson’s aide before becoming the centre of one of Britain’s most infamous murder cases. It’s true-crime-tinged prestige drama with serious edge — exactly the kind of appointment viewing Sky thrives on.

Later in 2026 comes American Hostage, a tense psychological thriller set in the 1970s and starring Jon Hamm as Indianapolis radio reporter Fred Heckman. Beyond shiny new releases, the Sony partnership supercharges Sky’s library offering with hundreds of hours of must-watch television. Along with the return of Chris Pratt as James Reece and the introduction of Hopper’s Hastings, new casting for the series includes Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry, Rona-Lee Shimon as Eliza Perash, Robert Wisdom as Jed Haverford, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Shiraz Tzarfati as Tal Varon, while Jared Shaw and LaMonica Garrett will return as as Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers and Commander Bill Cox.

As with Season One of The Terminal List, authenticity is a core pillar of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf – from the depiction of military operations and intelligence work to the emotional and psychological realities of service. With military veterans contributing as writers, actors, on-set technical advisors, and executive producers, the series is committed to portraying the mindset, brotherhood, and moral complexity of Special Operations with respect and realism.

In a recent profile piece in USAToday, Carr and Pratt dug deeper into Dark Wolf informing that it will serve as both an origin story to Edwards dark turn, along with highlighting and introducing characters who will step up in a major way for Season Two of The Terminal List, which will adapt Carr’s 2019 hot action thriller True Believer and which is set to feature Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry; a crass, self-obsessed CIA contractor and Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq; a former Iraqi Special Operations Forces officer.

Pratt and Carr developed the prequel series following the smash hit of The Terminal List, and the enthusiasm was deeply felt by DiGilio and filmmaker Antoine Fuqua. Dark Wolf follows Edwards, who, as a resident wildcard, is discharged from the SEALs after an operation, and his coveted trident insignia is removed from his uniform. “One split-second decision changed the course of his life,” said Taylor Kitsch. “You’re not only stripping the bird off his chest, you’re stripping away a piece of who this guy is and his purpose.” It’s then that he and Hastings get embroiled in the murky world of double dealings and brutal revenge killings of international intelligence operations, and the pair soon become entangled with Mossad agent Eliza Perash (Rona-Lee Shimon) who has her own war to fight.

“This is the origin story,” Kitsch said, vowing to reveal the road to Edwards’ betrayal. “This is the story that gets us to that point. There was so much heat around Edwards with that twist and all these questions about how. You’re going to learn a heck of a lot more about who Ben really is and these twists and turns that led to that decision.”

In Kitsch’s own mind, Dark Wolf offers him the opportunity for a story that could lead to more prequel seasons for the character and allow him to really dig deep into those dark moments that shaped him into the character audiences met back in The Terminal List.

“I just think it came out really strong. I wish I could tell you where we’re taking him,” Kitsch says. “If we’re lucky to get a second season of ‘Dark Wolf,’ it would be even darker than this season, no pun intended. This really dives into the story of a man fighting for the greater good. and not winning.”

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf will premiere its first three episodes on Wednesday, August 27, with new episodes following weekly, with all of it leading up to the season finale on Wednesday, September 24 on Prime Video.
