Here’s the official synopsis:
As Finn (Mason Thames), now 17, struggles with life after his captivity at the hands of The Grabber (Ethan Hawke), his headstrong 15-year-old sister Gwen (Madeleine McGraw) begins receiving calls in her dreams from the black phone and seeing disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp known as Alpine Lake.
Determined to solve the mystery and end the torment for both her and her brother, Gwen persuades Finn to visit the camp during a winter storm. There, she uncovers a shattering intersection between The Grabber and her own family’s history. Together, she and Finn must confront a killer who has grown more powerful in death and more significant to them than either could imagine.
The Black Phone was a terrifying and intense new take on the horror genre courtesy of filmmaker Scott Derrickson and author Joe Hill, and it utterly freaked audiences out, along with becoming a smash hit at the box office with $161 million!
Now audiences are invited back into the new nightmare of Black Phone 2, and this sequel is about to come out of left field with plenty of fresh scares, and a new take onto the origin and lasting horrors of The Grabber’s evil, and audiences who are looking to be both shocked and surprised will be in for a rush of intense chills with this one…. as The Grabber takes his revenge!
