The latest trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has captured the attention of the world, and in our auspicious countdown to the film’s impending release on April 25 we’re counting down our top 5 moments from the brand new trailer.
5. Stand United or Fall Divided
The events of Civil War broke our heroes, but now they’ve gotta come together to fight for something bigger than themselves, bigger than Earth even, and that’s the fight for the very existence of the universe itself. The past has got to fall away and now Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Bucky Barnes, T’Challa and a host of other heroes must come together for one final stand. It’s truly time to stand united….or fall divided.
4. Painful Memories
The new trailer brings back plenty of haunting memories for Gamora as she narrates a life lived under Thanos. The mad titan has destroyed many lives, and many desire vengeance against him, but for Gamora this is personal. The presence of the Guardians impending arrival back on Earth will certainly switch things up for the Avengers, and Infinity War is going to prove that there is always strength in numbers.
3. The Black Order
While Thanos might have his sights set on the Infinity Stones he’s also going to have plenty of help to get them. That ‘help’ comes in the form of a group of dangerous and demented alien followers known as The Black Order. While we only get a glimpse of them here, this collection of otherworldly bad guys will certainly send a shiver up your spine.
2. “I hope they remember you.”
Thanos’ entire existence has come down to this moment and nothing will stop the Mad Titan from getting what he wants: CONTROL OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. But it also appears that in his quest to conquer the galaxy he is also willing to acknowledge a worthy adversary and appears to enjoy the fight that the Avengers throw his way.
1. Not giving up without a fight
But if this trailer comes down to anything then it is most definitely the final moments when somehow through sheer will, determination and pure heart that Steve Rogers stops Thanos in his tracks. It’s a moment that takes your breath away and proves that no matter the obstacle these heroes will never stop fighting for what is right. Tony Stark promised that if they could never defend this world, they’d damn sure avenge it. That time is right now.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in cinemas on April 25.
