Production moves forward on ‘Birds Of Prey’
The wheels are rolling forward in the DC Cinematic Universe, not only do we have the upcoming release of Aquaman in December, Joker coming in 2019 and Wonder Woman 1984 set to be released in 2020.
Another high profile feature that definitely has our attention is Birds Of Prey which will follow the adventures of Harley Quinn, Huntress and Black Canary and which has just taken another exciting step into production.
Directed by Cathy Yan, Birds Of Prey features a cats including Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress and Rosie Perez as The Question. Together these superheroines will have to battle sociopathic gang lord Black Mask, who will be portrayed by Ewan McGregor, in order to save the soul of Gotham City.
Production is set to begin on January 15, 2019 and star Margot Robbie took to her Instagram page to update fans with production:
With such a talented cast and intriguing narrative, Birds Of Prey is a film to get really excited about and it will fly into cinemas on February 6, 2020.
