Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) join Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) on an adventure into outer space and across the galaxy to face off against Bowser’s son, Bowser Jr (Benny Safdie).
Following the previous teaser that introduced the fan-favourite Yoshi, this new trailer raises the stakes considerably. Mario, Peach, Luigi and Toad suddenly find themselves in a whole universe of trouble as they contend not only with the tyrannical Bowser, but also his ambitious heir Bowser Jr.. What follows looks like a race across galaxies, with cosmic obstacles, wild creatures and dazzling new worlds standing between our heroes and total catastrophe.
