With no power, comes no responsibility…
Again and again, Prime Video keeps upping the ante, and one of this year’s most exciting releases is hands down the all-new alternative universe adaptation of Spider-Noir starring the legendary perfomer, Academy Award-winner Nicoplas Cage, and audiences are going to be in for a hell of a thrill.
Watch the all-new trailer for Spider-Noir below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
“Spider-Noir” tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.
The official trailer made its world premiere to a packed room filled with 2100 fans at Centro Banamex Convention Center in Mexico City for CCXPMX26, the largest pop culture festival in the world. Actors Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, alongside creator/co-showrunner/executive producer Oren Uziel, took the stage to introduce the series to audience goers.
The panel also debuted an extended scene, offering attendees an immersive first look into the world, tone and stakes of Spider-Noir with a special video greeting from Nicolas Cage. Fans at the convention also had the opportunity to collect five different badges inspired by the iconic characters from the new series and designed by Mexican artist Jorge Molina.
This new trailer really opens up the world of Spider-Noir and gives audiences a greater insight into the performance that Cage is shaping up to deliver as Ben Reilly/The Spider, and it’s clear that the actors custom Nouveau Shamanic acting is on full display, and he really mixes it up with a character that harkens right back to the genre’s original pulp magazine origins, and Spider-Noir is ready to bring a whole new generation into the slick-cool classic filkm noir.
Spider-Noir will also be presented to audiences in two utterly unique ways to watch, with viewers being able to choose their own adventure as the series will be available to stream in two ways, in “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color.”
Get ready for an utter thrill, when The Spider returns to liven up screen this winter when Spider-Noir arrives on Prime Video on May 27.
