Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone capture the glitz, glamour and energy of Hollywood’s golden age of musicals in the brand new trailer for Damien Chazelle’s La La Land.
Here’s the synopsis:
Set in down and out jazz bars of Los Angeles, La La Land follows two dreamers, jazz pianist Sebastian Wilder (Gosling) and aspiring actress Mia Dolan (Stone) as they try to turn their dreams in Tinsel Town into a reality.
The new trailer is absolutely magnetic and draws you in with its potent mix of cinematography, costuming, lighting, and riveting musical pieces. Gosling channels his own version of Fred Astaire as the whimsical Sebastian, while Stone’s Mia exudes plenty of confidence and spontaneity.
La La Land will be released in cinemas on December 2 in the US and UK, and will then make its way into cinemas in New Zealand and Australia on December 26.
