True heroes step up to the line in ‘Only The Brave’
Hollywood megastar Josh Brolin is not one to shy away from his admiration and respect for America’s firefighting and first responder communities and in his new film, Only The Brave, the star got to pay his tribute to a team of truly heroic men.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion), Only the Brave, chronicles the heroic efforts of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, an elite team of specially qualified firefighters who combat bushfires on the very edge of the flames, fighting fire with fire.
For Brolin and the cast which includes the likes of Miles Teller, James Badge Dale, Taylor Kitsch, Jeff Bridges and Jennifer Connelly, authenticity and professionalism was everything and they all worked extremely hard to honour the spirit and commitment of the Granite Mountain Hotshots and their families.
The trailer captures both the hardships and sacrifices that these men endured along with the camaraderie and brotherhood that they had for one another and the lengths that they were prepared to go to protect their town.
Only the Brave will arrive in cinemas on November 9 and is an absolute must watch.
