From award-winning creator Julian Fellowes comes the motion picture event DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA. The much-anticipated cinematic return of the global phenomenon reunites the beloved cast as they go on a grand journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa.

Set in the early 1930s, we now find ourselves in a brand new adventure with Downton Abbey: A New Era and there’s so much to be overjoyed with thanks to this trailer. Not only are the Crawley family set to arrive in the South of France for a very special holiday where new secrets and mysteries will arrive, but Hollywood itself is calling and a motion picture event is set to be filmed at Downton Abbey starring movie star Myrna Dalgleish (Laura Haddock) and the presence of the cameras is sure to cause a fuss.

Directed by Simon Curtis and written by Julian Fellowes, Downton Abbey: A New Era is a lavishly beautiful and radiantly perfect film for these current times and I cannot think of a better picture than to want to escape into. It looks amazing on every single level and there’s so much to be excited about with this new film.

All of your favourite cast members are present and accounted for including Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter and Dame Maggie Smith, and the promise of a new story and exotic new locations to explore promise an incredibly beautiful narrative that audiences are certain to fall in love with.
