Power consumes all in new trailer for ‘House of the Dragon’
HBO’s Game of Thrones was a television event that consumed all of our lives with its lavish visuals, vivid action and memorable characters, and now a new chapter of Westeros is ready to be brought to the screen in House of the Dragon. And this new series is set to be masterful epic that must be watched.

Set two hundred years before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire, House of the Dragon takes place during the reign of House Targaryen, and its ruler King Viserys I Targaryen (Paddy Considine) who is now struck when it comes to his succession and whom the crown should pass to.
Vying for power is Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), Viserys daughter and a dragon rider who vows to be Westeros’ first Queen, along with Viserys brother, Prince Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) a dangerous and machiavellian warrior of unmatched power and cunning, and this fight between the Targaryen’s will draw in all of Westeros and lead to the civil war known as ‘The Dance of the Dragons’.
Led by showrunner Ryan J. Condal, with assistance from author George R.R. Martin, House of the Dragon appears to be an absolute epic and will deliver an incredible feat of storytelling that will completely sweep up audiences. The production design is lavish, the combat is pure steel on steel action and the visual effects bring to life the reign of the dragons at the height of their majesty.
