2019’s Ready or Not was a horror comedy big on both gore and gags, and it struck a chord with audiences with its unabashed originality and haughty comedy horror slashfest, and was an instant hit with movie goers and grossing more than $57 million dollars on a $6 million budget, along with confirming Samara Weaving as a bonafide scream queen… and a serious talent to watch.

A sequel was quickly ordered, and it was a moment of pure shock when it was confirmed that we had an all-new trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come… and this looks utterly bonkers.

Check out the all-new trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace MacCaullay (Samara Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Kathryn Newton) at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.

This brand new trailer finds Grace surviving one nightmare and trading up for another one as a brand new satanic game is ushered forth, and it’s going to be one hell of a gnarly watch. Not only do we get to see Samara Weaving return as Grace, but this time he’s matched next to Kathryn Newton as Faith, her long-lost sister who is pulled into this bizarre content or kill or be killed, and from there it only gets crazier.

Then there’s the supporting cast, and what a line-up with the likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Shawn Hatosy as the antagonistic Ursula Danforth and Titus Danforth, along with Elijah Wood bringing a considerable creep factor as The Lawyer, who is present to oversee the actions of this new game that the MacCaullay sisters now find themselves in.

With a sizeable helping of gore, a completely shocking narrative presence and some laugh-out-loud comedy moments, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come is shaping up to be one of 2026’s must-watch cinematic events, and audiences will be in for a wild ride with this new one.
