In a surprise release just in time for Christmas, Netflix has treated audiences to a first look at the forthcoming release of one of 2024’s most exciting debuts with the long-awaited full-length gangster film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, which will once again see Academy Award-winning actor Cillian Murphy return as the fabled gypsy gangster Tommy Shelby. And this teaser trailer really shakes things up.

While there’s no existing known plot for The Immortal Man, the teaser trailer offers up a taste showcasing a know withdrawn and isolated Tommy Shelby having to return to Birmingham and his old gangster ways with the rising threat of fascism and Nazism in Britain, and it’s all about to get explosive.

It’s an exciting prospect seeing Murphy don his great coat, peaked cap and definitive Shelby strut once more, and audiences will be baying with excitement as to the prospects of hat awaits with The Immortal Man.

Celebrated writer and creator Steven Knight has returned to once again construct this next chapter in the Shelby legacy and we’ll also see the return of cast members including Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sophie Rundle as Ada Thorne, Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong and Packy Lee as Johnny Dogs (and whom also narrates this opening teaser trailer), in addition The Immortal Man will also feature a talented new line-up of cast members including Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth and Barry Keoghan, who will all play key roles in the new story, but whose characters details have yet to have been revealed.
