2026 is shaping up to be the year of Robert Pattinson, not only did he shake-up audiences within his performance in The Drama, but he’s also set to headline massive blockbusters The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three, and he’s now set to deliver a another chilling turn as he steps into a dark and dangerous world as he channels infamous journalist Chris Hanson in A24’s Primetime.

Watch the all-new teaser trailer for Primetime below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

In 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen sets out to make television history.

Directed by Lance Oppenheim in his theatrical debut, Primetime takes audiences back to the earlyt 2000s, where journalist Chis Hansen stumbles upon a radial use of reality TV, and in the process crafts hard-hitting shock realoty TV series To Catch A Predator, which becomes a sensation, and Primetime isn’t holding back in how far it’s ready to push its narrative towards the edge.

While it had been known for sometime that Primetime was inspired by Hansen and To Catch A Predator, it came as a shock to many that Pattinson would actually be portraying the Hansen, and this elevates Pimetime to a cinema release that is decidely more interesting because of it.

With it’s neon-tinged cinematography and edgy kinetic-presence, Primetime is sure to keep audiences on their toes, and it’s not going to be one for the faint of heart, but given Pattinson’s pedigree for delivey excellence, Primetime is certain to keep audiences primed for something very interesting.

Primetime will arrive in cinemas this September.
