Prime Video’s The Terminal List took the platform and audiences by storm with its no-holds-barred action-thriller experience, and much excitement was had when it was revealed a prequel series was on the way focusing on Taylor Kitsch’s paramilitary assassin Ben Edwards. Now Prime Video has confirmed the series as The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, and that cameras will role this year.

Here’s the official synopsis:

An elevated espionage thriller that takes viewers on Edwards’ journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator, exploring the darker side of warfare and the human cost that comes with it.

The six-episode prequel series is set five years before the events of The Terminal List and will focus on Edwards’s journey from decorated Navy SEAL to the world of dark, clandestine spy operations and how this path twists Edwards’s own morality against the men who were once his brothers. Kitsch will headline the miniseries, and will be joined by Chris Pratt as James Reece along with Jared Shaw as Boozer.

Variety has also just confirmed that English thespian Tom Hopper, a hulking British performer of immense talent and size and the star of Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, has signed on to portray the pivotal character of Raife Hastings, both in Dark Wolf and the forthcoming second season of The Terminal List.

Production is set to start soon on The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, and with a little bit of luck, we might get the series premiering before the end of the year.
