2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for cinema fans, and within the last 6 weeks, we’ve already had some banger releases! But when it comes to our most anticipated film of 2025, it’s easily Joseph Kosinski’s F1 starring Hollywood superstar and Academy-Award winner Brad Pitt. And this new look at the film looks utterly incredible and promises one hell of an adrenaline rush.

Watch the new spot for F1 below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) on the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP).

Building off of that first teaser trailer that was released last year, this 30-second spot paints an adrenaline-soaked picture of what awaits with Pitt cast as burnt-out former racer Sonny Hayes, who is given one last shot at glory as a part of the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP) as he mentors hothead racer Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris). From the footage its clear that Kosinski has crafted a film that honours the intensity and passion of Formula 1, along with placing a great deal of drama and romance into the picture as Hayes falls for APXGP’s Team Principal Kate (Kerry Condon).

Kosinski’s commitment to authenticity has also seen him mount 15 separate cameras to the body of the film’s cars, which were built in partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, and audiences will see Pitt as Hayes on track and right in the thick of it, and all of this will add to the thrill that awaits in F1.

F1 is far and away our most anticipated release of the year, and this is one film you’ll definitely want to see on the big screen!
