Witness the full-throttle intensity of ‘F1’
Brad Pitt is ready to take on the grid in the all-actions sports rush of modern motorsport in F1 from filmmaker Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), and this new trailer showcases just how much of a rush audiences can expect from this full-on vehicle action spectacle.
Watch the full trailer for F1 below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben (Javier Bardem), contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua “Noah” Pearce (Damson Idris) for the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP).
Kosinki’s F1 is far and away our most anticipated release of 2025, and following on from the first look teaser trailer, we now have a better look at what awaits audiences in F1. And it’s an explosion of pure adrenaline as Hollywood A-lister and Academy Award winner Brad Pitt’s washed-up racer and ‘never been’ contender, Sonny Hayes, finds one last chance in a gamble for the podium that could take a faltering Formula One team, Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP), right to the top.
This new trailer not only showcases an awesome new bout of footage, which has seen filmmaker Kosinski strap IMAX cameras to real performance Formula One vehicles, but also highlights the tension and drama at the base of the story, along with a wild romance for Pitt’s Hayes with APEX Team Principal Kate (Kerry Condon), and his last shot at glory along the arrogant, but potentially hot shot young racer Joshua “Noah” Pearce (Damson Idris).
Kosinki has pulled out all the shots for F1 alongside mega producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who have worked tirelessley with both Formula One, the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team and 7-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton to bring the true experience of Formula One racing to the big screen. And this new look footage is incredibly impressive.
There’s an incredible energy and excitement about this film that this trailer captures, and set to thumping rifts of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’, you can feel the rush of energy that both Pitt and Kosinski have worked to capture with this picture. The buzz and energy of the trailer is sure to fire you up, and we’ve got what could be 2025’s ultimate blockbuster event present in F1, and there’s no doubt that you’ll have to see this on the BIGGEST screen possible.
