Here’s the official synopsis:
Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Nicole Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.
The twists and thrills heat up quickly in the Alps, and even with the icy conditions of their exotic getaway of Zauberwald, the psychological kerosene is let gushing out, and the match is about to be struck. While Kidman again holds the centre of the screen as Masha, she’s joined by a phenomenal supporting cast including the likes of Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong and Aras Aydin. And all of them have their own problems that will be brought into the light thanks to Masha’s unique therapeutic techniques.
But it’s Masha herself who is about to take a hell of a dive into the unknown as her own fragile psyche begins to crack under the pressure, and all of it will make for a hell of an intense watch for audiences.
The first two episodes for Season Two of Nine Perfect Strangers will debut on Prime Video on May 22, with further episodes released weekly, all leading up to the epic season finale on July 3.
