Kosinski, who, along with Tom Cruise, just happens to be “the man who saved cinema” according to Steven Spielberg, and who now, with the grand master of blockbuster cinema, Jerry Bruckheimer, is ready to unleash sheer spectacle upon the big screen with F1. And this new trailer is packed full of intensity and drama and will cause your adrenaline to spike!
Watch the final trailer for F1 below:
Here’s the official synopsis:
Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben (Javier Bardem), contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua “Noah” Pearce (Damson Idris) for the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP).
With the strength of its cast, epic dramatic narrative and collaborative production with Formula One, F1 is shaping up to the movie of the year, and this new trailer hypes up the atmosphere and vigour of what audiences can expect in a cinema experience that us going to go 200 kilometres an hour!
Hollywood A-lister and Academy Award-winner Brad Pitt is front and centre as burnt-out former hotshot Sonny Hayes, who is gifted one final chance to make his mark on the sport of Formula One. And it’s going to be a hard-won battle for this veteran racer. Pitt plays the part of the outlaw cowboy who doesn’t play by the rules, but who, when push comes to shove, will go all the way and then some to get the checkered flag! There’s an energy, stoicism and raw toughness to Sonny, and he’s gonna find his test as he comes into the APXGP team, and has to start playing by their rules.
Pitt’s Hayes is contracted by the youthful phenom racer Joshua “Noah” Pearce, played with youthful arrogance and antagonism by Damson Idris. Idris Pearce is equally well balanced with a chip on both shoulders, and enters into a ruthless competitiveness with Hayes, and to put it likely, these two don’t get along. But it’s clear that this golden boy prodigy might not know everything, and after he’s taken for a ride by Hayes, the two will have to square up their differences if they are to make it to the podium.
Bringing the balance to the film, and a whole heap of romance to the picture, is APXGP’s Team Principal Kate (Kerry Condon), who sees through the macho dance between Hayes and Pearce and who is ready to do everything she needs to in order to straighten them both out. There’s also a burning romance that flutters between her and Pitt Hayes, and it’s getting downright scintillating and all kinds of sexy in F1!
Plus we have to mention Academy-Award winner Javier Bardem as as Ruben Cervantes, Sonny’s former teammate, friend and APXGP team owner, and he brings a great sense of banter, along with a ruthless business acumen to the picture, and he’s ready to do anything to win!

This trailer rockets forward, and the drama and rigidity are high. Kosinski has worked to put the audience right at the heart of the action, including strapping IMAX cameras to the cockpit of a Formula One car. This experience on the big screen will be something to behold!
The film’s production alongside Formula One also sees Pitt and Idris on track on some of the world’s greatest tracks, and an assortment of some of the world’s best racers including Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri and Fernando Alonso, will all feature heavily within the film.
F1 is going to be an utterly explosive cinematic experience, and audiences will be in for a wild ride when it arrives at the cinema on June 26.
