Jennifer Garner is ready to reunite the girls for The Five-Star Weekend, an all-new eight-part drama series arriving on Hayu on July 10. Adapted from the bestselling novel by Elin Hilderbrand, this emotional new series promises a heartfelt exploration of love, loss, friendship, and the enduring power of womanhood.

Take a look at the all-new trailer for The Five-Star Weekend below:

Here’s the official synopsis:

The Five-Star Weekend centres on Hollis Shaw (Golden Globe-winning and Emmy Award-nominated actress Jennifer Garner), a famed cook and bestselling author known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanour, who suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the tragedy begins to expose the cracks in Hollis’s seemingly perfect life — her strained marriage, complicated relationship with her daughter, and growing need for validation from her fans.

In an effort to heal and rediscover herself, Hollis invites four women from different chapters of her life to spend a weekend together at her Nantucket home. Bringing together friends from her childhood, twenties, thirties, and beyond, along with one surprise fifth star, Hollis embarks on a journey of self-discovery against a stunning coastal backdrop. As old wounds resurface and long-buried secrets emerge, each woman will find herself changed in ways she never expected.

This new trailer for The Five-Star Weekend is packed with emotion, showcasing Jennifer Garner in what looks to be one of her most moving performances yet. As Hollis grapples with grief and attempts to rebuild her life, Garner brings warmth, vulnerability, and authenticity to a character navigating profound personal change.

Alongside Garner is an exceptional supporting cast, including Chloë Sevigny as Tatum McKenzie, Regina Hall as Dru-Ann Jones, Gemma Chan as Gigi Ling, and D’Arcy Carden as Brooke Kirtley, the women invited to Hollis’s transformative weekend getaway. They are joined by Harlow Jane as Hollis’s daughter Caroline Shaw, while the ever-charismatic Timothy Olyphant appears as Jack, Hollis’s teenage sweetheart, whose reappearance may spark an unexpected new chapter in her life.

Audiences looking for an emotional and uplifting drama won’t want to miss The Five-Star Weekend when it arrives on Hayu on July 10. Just make sure you’ve got a box of tissues — and perhaps a tub of ice cream — close at hand.
