The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) has found himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the ultimate commitment to the job… to die, for a living.
This new trailer for Mickey 17 gives audiences a terrific new impression of what lies ahead in this nutty science-fiction comedy which is a great send-up of the extremes of corporate culture and workplace hate, and Robert Pattinson is totally ‘koo-koo’ in the role of everyman turned expected human saviour Mickey Barnes, who just may hold the key to saving humanity’s entire existence.
As a filmmaker Bong Joon Ho has built a reputation for creating the most unexpected, yet completely resonating picture, that swim across an array of genres and characters, and with this, Mickey 17, his first feature following his Academy Award-winning win for the triumphant Parasite, audiences are definitely going to be in for a treat.
Robert Pattinson himself appears to be having the time of his life through the portrayal of the ‘expendable’ Mickey Barnes, and with 18 different versions of the character, audiences can expect the whole gamut of a performance from Pattinson as he gets to stretch out his entire thespian self. And there are sure to be plenty of surprises with this one when it’s done.
