The cast of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ line-up
When it comes to action blockbusters one of 2020’s biggest release is Top Gun: Maverick. While Tom Cruise is ready to take audiences back into the danger zone and has featured predominately in the film’s marketing materials, we can now offer a new look at the film’s supporting cast.
Stepping up in a big way and taking on the important role of Lt. Bradley ‘Rooster” Bradshaw is Miles Teller and the young actor will be bringing some serious dramatics to this heavy role. As the son of Maverick’s former RIO and best friend Nick “Goose” Bradshaw, Rooster will likely have some very intense feelings that he’ll direct towards Maverick and this will surely lead to some gnarly moments.
Providing back up in Top Gun: Maverick, we also find Monica Barbaro as Phoenix, a hotshot young pilot trainee who is eager to prove herself and who may just offer up a bit of romance for Rooster.

Sure to bring the competitive edge to Top Gun: Maverick is Glen Powell as Hangman, and it’s likely that this All-American boy will really get in Rooster’s face just as Tom “Iceman” Kazansky (Val Kilmer) did in the original Top Gun.

Here’s the official synopsis:
After more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is where he belongs, pushing the envelope as a courageous test pilot and dodging the advancement in rank that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: “Rooster,” the son of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose.”
Top Gun: Maverick will arrive in cinemas on June 25.
