Check out the official synopsis below:

James Bond (Daniel Craig) has left active service and is living in Jamaica when his friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) enlists his help in the search for a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that they were abducted, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen.

Along with the return of Craig as Bond, other cast who will be returning to the film include Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Ralph Fiennes as M.

In addition to the series principal cast a group of talented new performers has also been added to the film who include Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen, and whose roles are currently unspecified.

Bond 25’s biggest reveal though was the confirmation that recent Academy Award winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) will serve as the primary antagonist to Bond in the new film. While nothing was revealed about his role, Malek said that he’s going to give Craig “a run for his money”, and given his talent and range of acting expression he’ll certainly create something very memorable here.

Ever since 2006’s Casino Royale Daniel Craig has brought a sense of intensity, toughness and deep character to the role of James Bond and in the 13 years that he’s been portraying the character he’s cemented himself as one of the all-time action greats. Now with Bond 25 we’ll get to see him in one final triumphant performance when Bond 25 arrives in cinemas next year on April 9, 2020.
