Those two legendary slacker rockers William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan, played by the lovable Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are ready to return to the big screen in the long anticipated sequel Bill & Ted Face The Music and this one is gonna be fun!
Picking up 29 years after the release of Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, we now find these perennial slackers facing middle age and suddenly pulled back into a brand new adventure. Original screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are once again back for this one and fans can expect plenty of kooky new laughs.
Standing next to Bill and Ted this time are their daughters Billie Logan (Brigette Lundy-Paine) and Thea Preston (Samara Weaving), who have to help their dads out of a bit of trouble, along with William Sadler who also once again returns as the Grim Reaper.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Now enduring the monotony of middle-aged life, William “Bill” S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Keanu Reeves) are warned by a visitor from the future of the need for them to create a song in 78 minutes that will save all life on Earth and the entire universe. The pair work with their families, old friends, famous musicians, and each other to complete the task.
